Took £95 from my bank no warning, disabled on benefits, can’t eat the last week of the month now.
I don’t understand what you’re saying, other than ner ner na ner ner we’re keeping your disability benefits after messing you around for a week and not telling you we were taking £95 from my account at any point.
Please explain what the reason is, as if you want me to actually understand it.
Your app is too complicated for me. I have not used it at all. I need my money back.
You are morally and ethically void.
I’m going to trading standards, and if they can’t help, my MP who will.
Why havevyou taken money from my bank without telling me and why won’t you give it back?
I want an explanation because I don’t understand your conplicated contract.
Daylight Robbers in the guise of health help. HORRENDOUS.

Too many expensive add ons
Too many expensive add ons, just one after another, making it seem that the plan you just paid for is worthless without all the expensive supplements, booklets, meditations, recipes, etc.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts. MyDiabetes offers additional optional products and services that are presented separately and are not required to use your subscription or access your personalized plan. BEWARE! Three payment attempts in one day. Months AFTER cancellation of the service.
Edited- I’m very pleased to say that following my formal complaint, MyDiabetes has now refunded both payments in full (£95.99 and £42.00). I appreciate that the company has ultimately resolved the financial side of my complaint, although I remain concerned about how the situation arose in the first place and the considerable distress it caused. I was on the phone for almost an hour yesterday trying to sort this out with my credit card company. Completely avoidable.
Be very wary of this company. I signed up to MyDiabetes in January 2026, paying £28 for the initial trial. I decided the service wasn’t for me, cancelled, and then deleted the app (which states that all info is deleted. Clearly not!!) I have not used the service since since I cancelled and certainly won’t be using it again.
I was horrified to discover yesterday, 31 July 2026 — months after cancelling — that MyDiabetes had attempted to take multiple payments from me on the same day.
Two amounts, £95.99 and £42.00, are showing as pending transactions on my credit card.
There was then a further attempted payment of £95.99, which triggered a fraud/security alert and contact from my bank.
I contacted MyDiabetes immediately. Rather than properly addressing my concerns, their response simply stated that their records showed my “subscriptions” were still active, referred me to their Terms & Conditions and refused a refund. They have subsequently cancelled the account.
What I find particularly concerning is that their response did not explain why there were multiple payment attempts, why TWO different subscription amounts were being charged, or why a further £95.99 payment was attempted.
I have now made a formal complaint and requested a full explanation, evidence relating to the subscriptions they claim remained active, confirmation that EVERYTHING associated with my account has been cancelled, and reimbursement in full of any payments that are completed.
Adding insult to injury, after refusing my refund request, their response continued:
“That said, your experience truly matters to us, and we want to do our best to support you. If you’re open to it, we would really appreciate hearing more about what didn’t work for you or any challenges you’ve faced…”
What a nerve!!! I had already explained exactly what the problem was: multiple unexpected payment attempts months after I believed I had cancelled. I wasn’t asking for help getting more value from the service — I was asking them to explain the charges and return my money. Clearly NOT bothered about the customer- just themselves!
Having subsequently read other customers’ reviews reporting subscription and billing concerns, I wish I had read them before signing up. Please be very wary of this company.
This has caused me considerable distress and completely undermined my confidence in this company.
The irony isn’t lost on me that stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline can raise blood glucose.
Perhaps not quite the outcome you’d hope for from an app called MyDiabetes!
I will update this review to reflect how MyDiabetes responds to my formal complaint.
