I tried the product and it wasn't for me. I cancelled my subscription. I received an email that my subscription was cancelled. When my renewal date came up they dried to take the payment my bank caught the fraud. I had to go to the bank to get my card turned back on
When the next date came around they tried 3 times obtain a payment I didn't owe
Now I have to go to the bank again to get my card turned back on. This is ridiculous
If it is a product you love stay with it, hopefully they will be nicer to you of you decide to discontinue you subscription and the still try to take your money

Hello Brad,
Thank you for your feedback. We understand how concerning unexpected charges can be. Subscription pricing, renewal terms, cancellation conditions, and any optional purchases are presented during checkout and outlined in our Terms and Conditions.
To stop future subscription charges, the subscription needs to be canceled through the service where it was originally purchased. Please note that deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.
Please contact us at [email protected], include this review, and provide your account email along with the dates and amounts of the charges so our team can review your billing history.
Best regards,
MyDiabetes Team

The information in the app is dangerous…
The information in the app is dangerous with regards to the diabetes menus. The carb/protein and macro/micro nutrients are not designed with supporting a diabetics healthly blood glucose. They do not follow Diabetes Food Intake guidelines at all. I just wanted an app that could give me healthy, medically sound easy recipes with shopping lists. The recipes and lists are functional however without regard for effect on blood glucose.
After several emails back and forth with MyHealth/MyDiabetes, I explained I did not use the app, just tried to familiarize myself with how it functioned and the information there within. I was interested in the recipes and lists, but they are not in accordance with all the diabetes nutrition courses I've taken. Just to look at the app, regardless of its functionality and quality costs you a month ($20 CDN) subscription. There are no free trials at all unlike most lifestyle apps. However, MyHealth did finally decide to refund HALF of the month and gave me some useless ebooks to download. Their customer service is pretty good, I'll admit, and likely because my complaint escalated. I do appreciate the $10 refund. Beware of buying apps from social media ads. Too good to be true.

Hello AJ,
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We appreciate your positive comments about the assistance you received from our customer support team, and we’re sorry the nutritional content did not meet your expectations.
MyDiabetes is designed to provide diabetes-focused meal-planning and tracking tools, but the recipes and nutritional information are intended as general guidance and are not a substitute for individualized medical or dietary advice. Blood glucose responses and nutritional requirements can vary considerably between individuals, so we encourage users to discuss specific carbohydrate, protein, and nutrient targets with their healthcare professional or registered dietitian.
We also understand your concerns regarding the subscription. The applicable price, billing terms, and subscription conditions are presented during checkout before a purchase is completed. Refund requests are reviewed according to the circumstances and applicable purchase terms, and we’re glad our team was able to provide a partial refund in your case.
We take feedback about the nutritional content seriously and will share your concerns with the appropriate team for further review. If you would like us to look into any remaining concerns, please contact us at [email protected] and mention this review.
Best regards,

MyDiabetes: They are scammers
They are scammers! I have cancer and mental health illness, CPTSD and anxiety. I only signed up for an initial special deal. I immediately realised they were not offering me anything that was worthwhile. Then three months later they have taken a payment of £70. I had tried emailing them but the email address they give gives a undeliverable message so that's a scam right there. I have noticed they have responded to people over here but they are lying and giving an email address that doesn't work. I received nothing from them and did not agree to any further billing agreements. And have disputed the charge. Then I get an email from them saying my subscription is cancelled and the correspondence email is a different one (hello rather than info) I have written to them four times asking for a refund which they have ignored. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM! They have aggressive billing techniques, take unauthorised charges from you and make it very difficult to impossible to get a refund. They actively resist giving legitimate refunds. It's disgusting how they prey on vulnerable people. They should be ashamed of themselves. I will be reporting them further.

Hello Sara,
We’re very sorry for the frustration and distress caused by the renewal charge and, particularly, by the difficulty you experienced when trying to contact us. We also apologize if an email you used previously returned as undeliverable or if our responses did not address your refund request clearly.
Our subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. The pricing, recurring billing, renewal terms, and cancellation conditions are presented during checkout and included in our Terms and Conditions. We understand, however, that this does not resolve your concern about a charge you did not expect.
The correct MyDiabetes support address is [email protected]. If you have already contacted us several times regarding this £70 charge, please email us again at this address and mention this review. Include the email address associated with your account, the date and amount of the charge, and your previous correspondence if available. We can then review the subscription, cancellation history, billing records, and your refund request together.
Refunds are reviewed according to the circumstances and applicable purchase terms, so we cannot promise a refund in advance. We do want to make sure your request has been properly reviewed, especially given the communication difficulties you described. If your subscription has already been cancelled, no further renewal should occur.
Best regards,
MyDiabetes Team

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. App was bought by mistake, and because it was a mistake it was unused during the free trial period. Then once the money came out of my bank on day 1 I tracked down where this money went. I contacted customer service explaining I have not used the app and just got charged today, so can you please refund because I want to cancel my subscription. And they wouldn’t refund me. The e-mail goes on to say how sorry they are that the app doesn’t meet my expectations? What expectation? I told them I never used it! My expectations were for them to make it right and cancel one day after my free trial expired. It’s like they didn’t even address me and just copied off some script they use to e-mail customer’s denied.
Buyer beware. If they won’t refund 1 day from a mistake purchase who is to say they’ll help you when you try to cancel and get charged again?
Response from MyDiabetesOct 5, 2026
Hello Rob,
We’re sorry for the frustration caused by the renewal and, especially, by the response you received when you contacted us. We understand that your concern was about an unintended purchase, that you had not used the app, and that you were requesting cancellation and a refund immediately after the charge. Our response should have addressed those points directly.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, and the pricing, renewal terms, and cancellation conditions are presented during checkout and in our Terms and Conditions. However, we understand that knowing this does not make an unexpected charge less frustrating.
Refund requests are reviewed based on the circumstances and applicable purchase terms, so we cannot guarantee a refund simply because the subscription was unused. That said, if you believe your request was not properly addressed, please contact us again at [email protected] and mention this review. Include the email address associated with your account and the date and amount of the charge so our team can review the account, billing history, and previous correspondence.
Best regards,
MyDiabetes Team

MyDiabetes Deserves 0 Stars
I would give MyDiabetes 0 stars if I could. I paid for a 30-day trial period with the explicit guarantee that I would be refunded if dissatisfied.
My first issue was the meal plan that contained all the foods I disliked from the questionnaire. I replied to their email (hello at mydiabetes.health) to request that my meal plan be adjusted. Five days went by with no response. In the meantime, some guy named Gavin contacted me and wanted over $2k for “coaching”. I refused his offer.
I wrote back once more asking for a refund because no one had reached out to me regarding the meal plan. It has now been one week since that last email was sent and still not a peep from the “help” line.
I have just sent one more email (all in one thread) asking that they please refund my money. I have low expectations that there will be any response.
Don’t waste you time and money on MyDiabetes!
This company obviously likes to drag things out until you have surpassed the 30-day grace period so they do not need to honour their promise.
Update: I received a response denying my request for refund because I did not return their physical goods in resaleable condition (I only have an app). This company is a total scam, especially since this line is copied from my original correspondence with MyDiabetes: 👉 Try it risk-free with 30-day money-back guarantee
Response from MyDiabetesOct 5, 2026
Hello Kathy,
We’re very sorry for the experience you’ve described, particularly the delays in responding to your messages and the difficulty you had getting your meal plan addressed. We understand how frustrating this would be after completing the questionnaire and expecting the plan to reflect your preferences.
We’re also concerned by the refund response you received referring to returning physical goods. MyDiabetes is a digital service, so that wording does not appear relevant to an app subscription. We apologize for the confusion and would like to have this reviewed properly.
Regarding the meal plan, our plans are designed around diabetes-focused nutrition and the preferences provided during setup, with meal suggestions that can be adjusted or swapped. If the plan contained foods you had specifically excluded, we’d like to investigate why those preferences were not reflected.
Please contact us at [email protected] and mention this review. If possible, keep the existing email thread or forward it to us so our team can review the correspondence, your account, the meal-plan preferences, and the refund request together. We’ll also be able to clarify the applicable refund terms for your purchase and address the incorrect physical-goods wording you received.
Best regards,
MyDiabetes Team

Misleading and worthless
I went through the questionnaire and whe my plan was created, it mostly contained the food I didn’t want.
I contacted MyDiabetes to ask them to cancel the order, as it was misleading and of no use.
The diet plan consisted of mostly food I can’t eat and it’s very repetitive.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOUR DIABETES! It’s merely a general Computer generated diet.
Don’t be fooled and do expect any refund when you find out what you get
Response from MyDiabetesOct 2, 2026
Hello there,
We’re sorry to hear the meal plan did not reflect your dietary preferences and that you found the recommendations repetitive. The meal plans are designed to provide diabetes-focused nutrition guidance and can include suggested meals that users can swap or adjust according to their preferences.
We understand that receiving suggestions containing foods you cannot eat is frustrating, particularly after completing the questionnaire. We’d like to look into what happened with your plan and your cancellation/refund request rather than dismissing your experience.
Please contact us at [email protected] and mention this review. Include the email address associated with your account and, if possible, details or screenshots of the meals that did not meet your preferences. Our team can review your account, plan, and refund request based on the circumstances and applicable terms.
Best regards,
MyDiabetes Team

Response from MyDiabetesSep 28, 2026
Bonjour Fabienne,
Cordialement,
L’équipe MyDiabetes
