Bad business practice
I went into my appointment hopeful that I’d be prescribed the hormones I know I desperately needed. Instead my Alloy provider wanted me to take low dose birth control or only progesterone. I was experiencing brain fog, hot flashes, night sweats, joint pain and I know those are related to low estrogen. I pushed back and she said it could be my iron, when I know that wasn’t true. This forced me to use another company who prescribed me what I needed right away and I’m already feeling better. Once I let the alloy provider know that I wasn’t working with her anymore and I’d like to cancel, she quickly charged me over $100 for vaginal cream that I did not ask for whatsoever and had it shipped to my house. That is such poor business practice.

Hello- We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and are sorry your experience was frustrating. We do want to gently clarify a couple of things: the medication mentioned was requested on your intake form prior to your consultation, and our records reflect a thorough, two-way consultation where your provider walked through their clinical reasoning with you. Our providers are here to offer evidence-based medical guidance tailored to each individual — that sometimes means recommending a different path than a patient has in mind. We believe that approach reflects the highest standard of care, even when it's not the outcome a patient was hoping for. We wish you all the best and encourage you to reach out to our team directly if you have any outstanding concerns.
