Prof. Ballerina MoveU is one of the best things I've…
MoveU is one of the best things I've ever done. I've been a professional ballet/contemporary ballet/modern dancer for 7 plus years and honestly i could do a lot through incorrect movement patterns. I'm halfway through moveU and i honestly can say it has not only helped me change physically it has allowed me the space to say that i wasn't able to do these things but that I AM going to get there. I'm ready for that and not afraid to face my pain. No good road is easy, so let them teach you how to fight for it along with everyone else in the program.
Oh ps i used to be a personal trainer too... Haha, be humble and you will improve

An absolute life changing program
An absolute life changing program. I literally paid thousands on massages, physical therapy, and chiropractic care to solve my neck pain. I then found MoveU on Instagram and took a shot and it changed everything. Not only did it lead me to finding the root of my neck pain but it 100% prevented other injuries to other movement that I had no idea I was doing wrong. Not only physically did this change me but mentally it gave me an entirely new appreciation for working out and staying healthy. Great program and team behind it!

Do not wait!!!
I followed MoveU on Instagram for a couple of years before I committed to the program, and all I can say is: DO NOT WAIT. If you are in pain, or miss doing the activities that you used to do, or don't trust your body the way you would like to, get enrolled in this program. It is a mental and physical journey unlike anything I've experienced in my journey of self-development. The coaches and community are incredibly supportive as well. If you commit to the program, you WILL see results. I used to play competitive sports year-round in my late teens, and I am now approaching 30 and I feel better now than I have at any point in my life, after only a few months in the program. Can't wait to see how strong I will become, and to get back to doing the things I love on a daily basis.

Just completed phase 1, time to leave a review
I felt it was time to leave a review of MoveU. I signed up last November after having to quit CrossFit because of recurring injuries and the admission that my mobility was poor and I was just building compensatory movements into my training.
I'm 4-5 months in and have just finished phase 1. Phase 1 introduces you to the basic concepts of how your body should move, how your posture should look and how to engage with every part of your body. I definitely have the most amazing awareness of my body because of this course. I cant fault the content, the exercises, the presentation, anything with the movements at all in fact.
Motivation is down to you. You get a weekly progress email but no one is going to be on your back telling you to move. Motivation is very personal to each person and you either have it or you don't. I will say that if you struggle to see any progress or experience any breakthroughs then motivation can become hard to come by because you start to question if what you're doing is working.
So why the 3 stars? for me one simple word...Facebook. The idea and the intention of the founders of MoveU is to engage within the community that is created on Facebook groups. You film yourself completing the exercises, post them to FB and then receive feedback from other users and most of the time one of the MoveU coaches. You are encouraged to post, to make friends and tag people in your uploads and in return be tagged your self and leave feedback for others. For me I have issue with this concept. Facebook is either loathed or loved. I loath it. Everything it stand for as a company to the "in your face" way it operates. Even creating a fake name and simply using FB for MoveU as they recommend doesn't protect you from the constant rubbish in the news feed, adverts and reminders to do more on FB.
Posting, commenting and engaging with the community can also be as time consuming as doing the actual movements and the group of people i initially made friends with and tagged in my postings dwindled from a lack of FB engagement on my part to the point where I have continued with the program but stopped posting to FB.
So how could they improve it?
1. Ditch FB. There are dozens of social media platforms you can integrate into your main site. Most people have similar things in the workplace such as Slack or Yammer.
2. More qualified MoveU coaches leaving feedback and less community members. I value feedback from experienced coaches more than Joe public.
3. Phase 1 and Phase 2 have all the content you should need yet there is a significant amount that the other coaches post and provide alternatives from the source material. If they're that good post them officially to the main site. I don't want to have to search in FB for them.
I'm just starting phase 2. Yes I'm still in pain, no MoveU has not resolved any of my issues yet but the course is good and I'm sticking with it in the hope that the understanding I now have of my body and how it should move will eventually click into place. 3.5 stars from me, not great but more than average.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We understand that a big part of your review of the MoveU Program revolves around participating in the private Facebook community. This is where members in the program are able to share videos and learn more about how they can improve their bodies through interacting with other members in the group and also with the MoveU Coaches.
To quickly (or maybe not so quickly) address your points made from our point of view:
1) Currently, Facebook is the platform that we believe helps to facilitate the learning and transformation of our members in the BEST possible way. Until we can find or create a better solution, this is where the community will be hosted.
2) We are working to create a Coaches Certification Program to train more and more MoveU Coaches all around the world to help the many members in the community as the program membership continues to grow. We are intrigued by the possibility of having these coaches be available to meet in person for private sessions when needed.
3) Just like our bodies, our program is continuously making improvements. We recently upgraded our program platform and redid ALL of the videos in the program. Our coaches are in constant communication with us to share what is working well for the members in the program when it comes to cues, modifications, additional exercises, etc. More videos are going to be made and will be included in the supplemental exercise libraries.
We encourage you to keep working through the program, just as you mentioned. It is fine that you are not fully out of pain. There is still a lot of strength to be gained as you entered Phase 2 and there will be room for improvements to be made on the fundamentals in Phase 1.
This is the normal course of the journey that we expect our members to go through. You have to keep working hard and be consistent over time, and the results that you are looking for can come. Patience with the program will be your best friend.
We'd love for you to think more about your relationship with being on Facebook and see the opportunity for yourself that has resulted in the amazing transformations for so many members in the program who have participated in the community.
So many lives have been changed through the program and the community and we would hate to hear that you are not achieving the highest possible results that you want simply because of not wanting to join a Facebook group.
We believe in YOU!
Keep MUvin!

Definitely a unique company?
Definitely a unique company. I suffered from two herniations in my low back. I was told I needed surgery at 21 years old. After some research I found this company and it definitely helped me gain knowledge of proper exercising and everyday movements. Overall this program is perfect to learn by yourself. DO NOT expect to be welcomed into a motivating atmosphere, the coaches and trainers do not know you personally so it is ONLY up to you to learn and succeed. When I initially signed up the program makes you sign up for their Facebook page. I was greeted nicely and told my story and history of injuries. After a few months I noticed most posts people made to the page were ignored, or had a few likes and maybe a comment, or two. The comments are mostly from clients of MoveU, people that are inexperienced or do not have a degree in health and wellness. So who do you trust when you get feedback? Unbiasedly, I truly believe that if it were not for my all or nothing attitude and never quit mentality I wouldn't of kept the program. I can't stress enough that this program definitely helped me gain a lot of knowledge that I needed, BUT this is not a program for someone who is completely novice and needs help with every training video in the program. The pro to MoveU is that it is not expensive to relative personal training and personal therapy costs. I do not have a negative opinion of MoveU, frankly I support any movement of health and wellness. With that said, everyone’s experiences are different, but I had a terribly tough time interacting with the coaches and community members. I found it easier to rely on their website, which contains all of their exercise and learning videos.

Hi Nicholas,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the program and the community.
The community is a big part of what we feel separates the MoveU Program from all other forms of treatment that you've tried. This comes along in addition to the highly detailed instructional videos that can teach anyone to learn more about their body step-by-step. When someone is struggling with the exercises, the community is there to help them see room for improvement.
This group is filled with highly motivated people who welcome you and want to improve their own pain, and they understand the importance of sharing their experiences with others so they can help them improve theirs and achieve their goals. It is all a part of the learning process that takes place as you go through the program.
The coaches in the community are there to help facilitate the learning that you have about YOUR OWN BODY. They help to ensure that everyone who is participating in the group and holding themselves accountable in upholding the "Success Principles" to give each member the opportunity to create the absolute best results for themselves during their journey in the program.
We see the members who follow the Success Principles and stay engaged in the program and the community CONSISTENTLY are the ones that see the best results. All members are held to these standards in the community as soon as they join, as they continue to post, and even when they come back and post for the first time in a while.
You *ARE* absolutely worth our time and we believe that we provided you with every opportunity when you posted into the Facebook Groups to make new connections and learn something about your body.
We respect your decision to end your subscription to the program and the community and we wish you the best moving forward.
Regards,
MoveU Team

Regained hope
After surgery, several steroid injections, seeing five PTs and 2 chiros, and spending probably 10k towards fixing my back, this program is the only reason I have hope again that I will get my life back. I'm feeling better than any of the previously mentioned ever made me feel. I feel in control, empowered, and have learned more about alignment, movement, and strength than my entire childhood and young adult life of being an athlete and strength training ever taught me. I have a long way to go to achieve my goals, but I'm on the way. You get out of it what you put into it, so don't bother if you aren't committed and ready to put in the work and time to get a strong, stable mind and body. You get one body and one life, so I suggest you do it :)

Hi Liz,
Thanks for your amazing review!
You summed up the goal of the program very well and you are certainly on your way to fulfilling that. Following your journey in the program and within the community has been super inspiring for so many, as you've been putting in some serious work and battling through tough times. Keep those 1% improvements coming every single day and let that compound over time, getting you back to the body & life that you love.

Thanks for your review of the program. We are happy to hear that you have found a solution to improve YOUR body and life after years of relying on others to "fix" you for you. You are the one in control of the muscles and movements in your body, and YOU are the one achieving the results.
