Float? Not like a butterfly, but sure Stung by the Moonpod Bee!
The product is a completely misrepresented, falsely advertised, over-priced, bag of cheap styrofoam pellets. It is not round in shape, instead it is a hard, uncomfortable “cylindrical” shaped, Pod. It is not as pictured in the advertisements and the Pod itself? $300, then the arms( also rock hard, too short, poorly designed!) another $150, then the “ottoman “ which should be the only “hard” or “solid” item? It’s a floppy pillow is all, and will cost you another $150. That is $600, and is NOT worth the price of the ottoman! “Float” they tell you? I have spine issues, “float” means to me “ no pressure points” instead you will find yourself on the rock hard floor. -at points, and when you try to adjust, you will roll or slide off the side of the cylinder ( not a “pod” at all) and just imagine, I am 5’2 and weigh 130 lbs, and this happens to me, imagine a larger person thinking they are going to “float”? Are you kidding me. Then, it’s so low to the floor & its shape, you will be crawling off your floor to get up, and woe to you if you fall asleep? Again, you will slide off onto the floor. The “crescent” it’s like leaning on concrete, and can’t even be, punched into shape. I have requested a full refund from these lying Bozos, I guess we will find out what kind of reputable company they are, or not. I have e-mailed them , just now, making this request, and since it is less than 30 days, I do, indeed, expect a full refund. We’ll see, stay tuned for the next chapter, folks! I just want to put it out there, this is NOT a product for older people or people in chronic pain. It is a falsely advertised, over-priced ruse. Better than “ old bean bag chairs”? Absofuckinlootlynot! To some it up in a word, that’s my word choice and my ultimate warning to others. I paid over $500 even with the promo price, to set on my floor, essentially. I could do that for free! ( Postscript:1/7/2022- At first, on returning the Pod & Crescent for a refund, even though it was within the 14 days that they allow, they gave me issue: They first requested that they be returned in original boxes, in original plastic bags, and that I was to photograph these items prior to boxing for their viewing to “ verify” that they were in new condition. ( I did this for my record, just in case! ) Then they stated that, the Pod would be subject to a “restocking” fee of $40 with a charge of $20 for the “cover” and $20 “restocking” on the crescent with a $10 charge for the cover, and shipping costs ( cheapest from my address was $76!) And that was only IF my return was accepted as “new” condition. Now, to this I replied, oh, hell, NO! I flat out told them no “respectable” company that backs a product would charge a person $166 back to the customer for a return in 14 days! I asked what “restocking” you open the bag & dump stuffing into a new bag? I also requested, in no uncertain terms, that return shipping should not be my responsibility either. After a little back & forth, they sent a barcode for FedEx return. I shipped the Pod & Crescent back in the original Pod box at least, because 2 boxes were unnecessary, this caused some confusion on their end, but has now been resolved. ( Thankfully! ) I did receive a full refund but am waiting right now to make sure it hits my bank ( this takes 7-10 business days, which seems a bit long to me, but as long as it gets there, I can live with that!) The one good thing? They do respond to e-mails in a very timely way. The only reason I feel that they allowed this full refund was because of the complaints I have voiced. Please, let the buyer beware, this product is not what you see on TV, I purchased it with the gray covering, my husband called it ugly and said it looked like a giant Good-n-Plenty candy. That is actually, a very accurate visual folks! Thanks for reading, and I do have those photos of the Pod, without its cover, which will show anyone ready to purchase what is going to be their surprise ( and disappointment?) when the box is open and they actually realize what they have purchased for $300. Caveat Emptor, folks! Don’t buy the hype here, even I fell for it and I generally am the LEAST gullible person on the planet! When asked if this was simply “ buyers remorse”? My answer? Sure, it ain’t buyer “ happiness!” It seems there’s no middle of the road here, folks, it is either “love it” or “hate it” can you guess by now, where my compass points?:(

Hi Melissa, and we thank you for the feedback that you provided in accordance with how the products were introduced to you, and we're sorry to know if the items were not what you envisioned. The firmness of the Moon Pod products will definitely loosen up over time, and the fact that they are hard now will increase the longevity of the product. This was a conscious decision by the product team to ensure the product lasted as long as possible. We're sorry again for any inconvenience here, and we thank you for your input. Thank you as well for considering the Moon Pod, and for anything, feel free to reach out to us anytime and stay safe!
