Two-bit operation
I've ordered from Monoprice in the past without any trouble. Prices are very good. The last order I placed on Tuesday was for some short Ethernet patch cables. Everything was fine until today (Thursday). Two full days after the order had been placed and charged to my credit card, I receive an email stating the item was out of stock. Seriously, it took you two days to figure that out? How is it that an online company cannot accurately know stock levels in real time? I I thought Monoprice was a large company that you could trust. They're nothing more than a two-bit operation. Order from them if you like but do so with the knowledge you may get screwed. When I contacted Monoprice (via chat) to cancel the remaining items on the order, they didn't even ask why. I think that speaks volumes.

Joe, We apologize for the experience you had with your previous order, our support team and the inconvenience it may have caused you. At Monoprice we pride ourselves on fulfilling orders as quickly as possible and it is clear this was not the case for your order. We would like to have the opportunity to win back your business in the future if given the chance. We would like the opportunity to look into what happened with your order so we can correct any issues with our processes if needed. If willing, please email me at [email protected] with your order information and help me create a better shopping experience, not just on the order level, but with our support team as well. Paul S.
