I have made a total of 3 orders for numerous products at Monoprice. As for trust, they have mine. Communication has been timely regarding order receipt, shipping and tracking. One order was necessarily split into two shipments - I was informed upfront and there was no added cost. I have spent less than $300, yet I am certain the merchandise is easily $500 and more from other retailers. It is clear to me that Monoprice has a solid business model which places the customer as their biggest asset. I heartily recommend their service. I am a retired licensed engineer and I scorn wasting time, energy and money. It hasn't happened at Monoprice.

Bought the Monoprice turntable and set it up only to find a serious crack in the dust cover. Contacted Monoprice and was told the only way to solve the problem was to disassemble the turntable, repack it, drive it to a Fed Ex ground drop off, ship it from Missouri to California by ground, wait for them to inspect it and determine whether to send me a new turntable, wait for it to be shipped, and then go through the setup all over again (about 30-40 minutes to assemble, balance tone arm,etc.). Alternative? A $20 refund - not exactly the value of a cracked dust cover. I simply couldn't see spending a couple of hours of time, not to mention a couple of weeks without the turntable, to return it. So I took the $20. I feel very disappointed in Monoprice's handling of the matter and told them so. Response - those are your options, take one. I've purchased a number of items from Monoprice and it's hard to beat their prices or find the kind of collaborations they are doing in things like headphone amps. However, I will think twice about purchases from them in the future. I have to say Massdrop handles problems a lot better and let's not even talk about comparing Amazon and Monorprice for service. Buyer beware. 6.17.19. Monoprice contacted me within hours of the posting of this review and offered to send me a new turntable so that I could swap out the cracked dust cover and then return the item. I readily accepted and had the new turntable within three days. I swapped dust covers, repacked the turntable and drove it to Fed Ex for shipment. Monoprice gets an A+ for responsiveness. I am very satisfied with the outcome of the transaction, and I give Trustpilot credit for providing this forum. I have made another purchase on Monoprice based on their actions in this incident.

Requested recommendations on HDMI cables. They were spot on and helpful as always.

We have purchased 3 of the Monoprice Select Mini printers V2. We teach 3D printing and have printed for 3 weeks pretty much non stop, more than 12 hours a day and these printers are still running smoothly. Lots of different models, and a variety of sources for PLA filament. The good: straight out of the box these started working, the simple interface provides clear control of the printer, reliability has been the best feature of these printers. The bad: We have had a couple of issues with the Bowden connectors at the motor end failing, these are very easy to replace. We will probably replace the motor mechanism to use the standard Bowden connector. The heated bed works great, but the surface does become damaged, we are trying to replace this with a magnetic surface. Overall: for the price, this is an excellent little printer.

I have always had good experiences with Monoprice. My last experience involved me ordering something that didn't work for my application. I reached out to the Monoprice team to start a refund process. Everything went smooth without any issues. if there's one piece of constructive criticism I would give, it would be a quicker response time to my initial request to start the return process.

I have a Monoprice Mini select that is about 8 months old and still under warranty. Power supply has failed even though it has not been used for more that a few hours. Contacted support and was told that a new power supply would be sent out, after 2 weeks and no power supply was received I contacted support and was told that they would rather me purchase on myself (They sent me the Ebay link) from the US and supply them with the invoice to be refunded with the cost of the power supply. To me that is not an acceptable solution for a warranty fix. So I have a rather expensive paper weight.

The support staff went above and beyond to help me out, even though they didn't have to. I'd say to buy from them directly if you can.

I recently purchased a new 2.1 sound system that I selected and installed myself, I just needed audio cables. After a few minutes of browsing Monoprice's website, I selected all the cables I needed and set to pick it up the next day. The next day, I was in and out of the store within minutes with my new cables. These cables were some of the highest quality cables I have seen for a great price. Everything was excellent, from quality to customer service. I would highly recommend Monoprice for anyone in need of electronic cables, especially for audio systems.
