On the cordless grinder . The key should have a pocket in handle . As out working in field we never keep the box and then have to look for key/wrench to remove disk when it won't come off by hand . As with corded we always zip tied wrench to cord .

Bought M18 Fuel combi drill and the chuck was annoyingly slightly off-centre. Put up with it initially (haven't used it much) but then bought a 12-inch bit and it was all over the place, so decided to return under warranty. This was at just under 6 months. It turns out the 3-year warranty is actually a 3-month warranty, with the 3 years only applying to parts that don't fail. So Milwaukee declined to pay for fixing their faulty goods. Very unimpressed with both quality and service.

Don't bother buying there Drills there gearbox has fragile parts and have to buy the whole gearbox instead of just broken part, which cost almost as much as the drill! Have 4 hammer Drills all failed on the same part go to dewalt or makita parts are easier sourced when your drill does go wrong.

I bought a knife model #48-23-1995 and the tip broke off unexpectedly. I called the customer service number(incredibly efficient) that directed me immediately to Twyla who explained that my model was discontinued, but sent me the newest model at no charge! Great service. Thank you, Milwaukee :)

milwaukee tool co is a total let down ive been personally dealing with them after my shop burnd down and losing everything i own and the cause being a millwaukee charger they found a loop hole in the fire report and used it too avoid paying the modest 40,000 i was asking witch was well documented at over 100,000 just another muti million dollar company that dont care about the consumers oh and bewhere of the m18 chargers theyll burn your house down

I did not receive any order updates. ( the ordering service says that I would ) . I tried several times to call and nobody answered the phone. I then tried calling sales instead of customer service, they did answer but kept transferring my call to customer service without even trying to help me. Eventually after a really long wait, I did get through only to be told that my tracking number wasn't working on their system. I was told that they would email me with my tracking number and updates. I am still waiting! Customer service is very poor and I will definitely not be using this company again.

So charger stops working, send them purchase receipt and photos of item and they still expect you to jump through hoops. Sending stuff off while you have dead tools. If they had asked for the item back to test their failed product I could understand but they wanted a sticker off of it, pretty useless

Tools are great but the registration process for warranties is ridiculously long and I would assume many abandon it midway through.
