I recently bought the Milwaukee fuel brushless 1/2” drive high torque impact kit to use on a backhoe that didn’t have access to an air compressor. While breaking the lugs on the high torque setting (mode 4) the gun would work intermittently. This kit cost a little over $400 bucks so I was slightly disappointed. Took the kit back and traded it for another one hoping that I just got a lemon. Brought it back home and tried busting the lugs again. The new impact did the exact same thing (intermittently turning on and off but eventually would start impacting). I’ve never had another impact that did this so I know it’s definitely not normal.

DO NOT BUY THESE TOOLS....they use to be great, now they are junk. I have 12-15 hours on my hedge trimmer(light work)....busted. Sent it for warranty repair over a month ago. It is in stage 3(they have a 6 stage process). Stage 3 is received according to their website, which "RECEIVED". The worse warranty support of power tools I have seen in 40+ years. Shame on them. I have emailed and phoned nearly 20 times and NO REPLY..wt...f.

The 3 year warranty on the M18 air compressor sucks 16 months into owning it one day it doesn't turn so I called Milwaukee they said ship it back it's under warranty "sounds good I thought" well then they say the warranty doesn't cover it because it's rusted and corroded they give you three options 1. Fix it for $268.00 2. Scrap it 3. They will ship it back to me for $10.95 in pieces. Yeah what the heck pay more to get your tool back or it comes back in pieces.

It is virtually impossible to register tools on the Milwaukee website for the extended warranty. Between myself and 2 other people we wasted about 2 hours trying to register a screwdriver/drill set. Milwaukee support forwarded multi page procedure but it did not help because the system just did not recognise the relevant numbers on the tools that had to be keyed. Found other internet and Trustpilot contributors making exactly the same complaint. Totally p..... off with the waste of time, I returned nearly £500 of just purchased Milwaukee items to Toolstation and got a refund. First item I purchased to replace these was a DeWalt and I registered it for 3 year extended Warranty in a few minutes - no problem. I will never purchase another Milwaukee product - if they make it so difficult to register the 3 year warranty - what else do the make difficult!!!

The tools seem ok but it is virtually impossible to register them on the Milwaukee website for the extended warranty. The barcode scanner doesn’t work and to be honest I’m losing the will to live, spent 3 hours at it and got absolutely nowhere. Never again

My Milwaukee Hole Dozer 3” hole saw claims to work in both wood and metal. However, the instant that it touched metal the teeth went dull even though I used cutting oil and a slow speed. The company has had no response.

Milwaukee customer service reps "flat out lie"! They make it a habit to drop the ball and act like it's OK! Gonna try other cordless tool manufacturers.
