Well before we were enageged, my husband asked if I would be ok with a man made diamond from MiaDonna. After looking at the specs and reviews I said sure! Sadly, he did not get me a man made diamond, but a hybrid. I was also very disappointed with the selection of settings. They were all so bulky with huge prongs that took away from the stones. Within about 2 months, there was a huge gash across the top and by the time of our wedding, it was filled with tiny scratches and definitely didn't shine. It was really upsetting. I lived with it until recently when I fell on gravel and broke my setting and gashed the hybrid CZ thing even worse. I wS told the stone was covered and they could fix it so to just send it back. The shipping cost me $85 because of the insurance!! Upon arrival I was told tough crap about the ring and it wasn't covered. I could pay to have them set the scratched disaster back in the broken setting or pay $850 to have a new CZ hybrid thing stuck in there. Needless to say, not amused and not happy. So not only did we pay $2000 for a useless ring, we then paid $85 to ship it to them plus $20 to ship it back. Thanks for nothing! I've been sure to tell ANYONE I know what a mess of a ring it was and what a mess of customer service MiaDonna has. Good thing I realized this before he bought me that tennis bracelet I had been eyeing for Christmas! There are other companies with man made diamonds that give a crap about their customers. Trust me, USE ANYONE ELSE BUT MIADONNA!!!

I remember working with both you and your husband and it was a pleasure working with you both- I was shocked to read of your disappointment and feel as though we must have miscommunicated somewhere along the line, and I personally apologize for any part I had in that. Regarding our warranty policy on your Diamond Hybrid® center stone; if a Diamond Hybrid® changes color/clouds or chips due to a manufacturing defect, this is covered for a complimentary replacement under the Lifetime Guarantee. If a stone suffers accidental damage, such as scratching or abrading, this is covered under our Complimentary Insurance Program which replaces your stone at a discounted rate of almost 50% off retail. Your 2.5ct Princess Cut Diamond Hybrid® retails at $895.00, and the replacement cost you were quoted was $487.50. I went through all the emails we shared and nowhere were you quoted $850 for the new stone, so I am unsure where this number came from; the only way you'd have to pay the $895.00 would be if the center stone had been completely lost and you didn't have insurance coverage. However, this was not the case with your ring. Since you decided not to replace the center stone, you only had to purchase the return shipping to get the ring back to you. Again, I am truly sorry you had this experience and if there is anything we can do to assist in the future, whether it is to replace the stone under the Complimentary Insurance or reuse it in a pendant as we discussed, please let me know and I would be happy to help. After receiving my Miadonna 1ct diamond hybrid traditional solitaire I was extremely happy overall with the quality and design. That was until about 2 months later when I was stuck in traffic one day and noticed that my stone had cracked. It has taken me a while to get around to writing this review because I have been so upset not only about my stone cracking, but also about the fact that I never even bothered getting it fixed. why is this? because I think it is absolutely ridiculous that I should have to pay to ship this ring back to Miadonna just so that they can have a jeweler "examine it" and decide whether or not it was a manufacturers defect and they will cover the cost or if I have to pay to have it replaced. And all of this after only 2 months of owning the ring. Mind you this is a ring that cost almost $800, yes it might not be a diamond but it is not a cubic zirconia either, and the funny part is that I have a $25 CZ ring that I bought at claire's almost 10 years ago that is still going strong. I think it is apalling that I should have to pay or do anything after only 2 months of owning the ring, I have a better chance at having my cheap dvd player that i bought a few months ago replaced if something goes wrong with it. Also, I find it convenient (for Miadonna) that there is no way to leave a review directly on their website. surprising really.

We take immense pride in providing each and every customer the highest quality product paired with exceptional customer service, so to receive such a negative review is very upsetting, and something I certainly don’t take lightly. Unfortunately we do not cover the shipping for product inspections unless it is determined that the issue at hand is a result of a manufacturing defect – something we would not know until post inspection. If it was determined that there was a manufacturing defect, we’d reimburse shipping costs without question. While the Diamond Hybrid® is incredibly hard, it is not indestructible, and accidental damage can occur in addition to manufacturing defects. However, based on your description of the crack, it sounds like this would 100% be covered under our Lifetime Guarantee. I’d be more than happy to get your ring inspection organized if you do change your mind. I stand by this company and what we do, and as such would love the opportunity to turn this experience around for you. I chose MiaDonna after looking at several options for eco/lab grown diamonds. There seemed to be a pretty wide range of both price and quality, and after searching for about two months decided on MiaDonna. When the ring arrived it looked even better than I had hoped and my (now fiance) loved it. I'd definitely recommend MiaDonna to anyone looking for an eco choice.

My now fiancée (she said 'yes'!) and I are both against conflict diamonds and we cannot afford an expensive ring as we are both in school. MiaDonna was the perfect solution! I looked up many reviews on their "ecodiamond" and found nothing but great things, so I ordered the "happy" three stone ring and could not be happier! We tried on rings/bands at home through the try on at home feature. Great idea! Arrived quickly. This way you get an idea of what the bands would look like and the size of "diamond". They also made it really simple to return when the 3 days were up. It would have been nice to be able to try on any of the bands in their selection, not just certain styles/or they band was out of stock at the time. Great concept with a couple minor flaws.
