I was planning on switching carriers to Metro/T-mobile. But I had a simple question that I tried to ask via chat, and I just could not get an answer. I chatted one night, and nobody answered at all, even though I was waiting for a human... then they closed. The next day, Xabisa "connected," per the chat notifications, but I just sat there for over 1.5 hours (of my wasted time) and never heard from him, despite repeat posting of my question. Total fail. But maybe it's a blessing in disguise that I didn't get stuck with such terribly horrible customer service by switching to Metro/T-mobile. F-

I Took Metro By T Mobile Offer, of A New Galaxy A17 Phone If I Ported Out And Transfer My Number From Spectrum Mobile To Them. Two Days Later The Supposedly Brand New Phone they gave me Starts Sending me Messages, that The UI App Is Not Working, I Did Not think too much About It, By The 3rd Day I Started Seen This Message A Lot More Often???? I Had Been Clearing The Cache For The Settings, Phone and Google Play Store Apps And Restarting The Phone For The Last Couple of Days, But I Was Beginning to See This Message A Little Too Often By The 4th Day.....???? I Am Very Familiar, with It Is Like to Deal With A Phone That Is Very Or Too Old.... I Know How A Phone, That Is Too Old Behaves And I Certainly Know, How A New Phone Behaves Also..... So I Went to The Metro By T Mobile Store From Where I Got The Phone, I Confronted The Metro Representative, That Processed My Order, As Well As His Manager, They Told me, That I Had Not Properly Updated My Phone Apps And Software And That It Was my Fault?? They Refused to Take A Look Or Check My Phone And Refused to give me A Replacement?? They Seemed to Just Wanted To Only to give Me My money back And Get Rid of me?? They Said, That if I Wanted to Keep The Service, That they were Certainly Not Going to give me A Replacement?? That I Had to go to The Assurant, The Insurance I Signed Up For, When I Got The Phone?? I Went Their Assurant Insurance And They Told me, they I Had to Pay Money To Replace The Phone And That If They Did It And Approved It, It Wasn't Going to Be A New Phone?? But Assurant Told me, They Did Not Replace Phones with The Kind of Problem I Was Having, That They Did Not Replace A Phone With A Faulty Operating System or CPU?? Contacted Metro By T-Mobile And Told me What Assurant Said?? Metro told me, that they Could Not Do Anything About It?? Metro Suggested to Contact Samsung The Maker of The Samsung A17, I Did Research On Samsung's Phone Insurance Policy And they Got A Rule That Says, that They Will Not Insure A Phone, That Comes with Pre-Existing Issues Or Conditions, So As A Result of Metro By T-Mobile Extreme Cost Savings Policies, I Am Left with Faulty Phone????? You Asked How Can Metro By T-Mobile Improve?? They Could Give A Lot Better Customer Service, If they Quit Being So Extreme In Cost Saving Policies, which Put At All Costs, Puts The Company Over Customers They Gave me Free Quality Tablet, Which A Very Nice Low Monthly Data Plan, I Appreciate Such Gesture, But I Just Hope, That Very Nice Tablet Doesn't Start Malfunctioning Just Like The Phone they gave me??

Unable to get any help was on the phone for over an hour ask them just put me through to your survey they left the call on hold I was on for over an hour trying to get help they don't understand English they're reading from a queue. This is what happens when a company goes for the cheapest labor they can get I'm canceling my entire plan with them I'll go with somebody else but it seems they're all bad.

I was with with Metro by T-Mobile for 10 years, since 2016. I called for help with my Samsung Galaxy S10 android phone. I was offered a promotion for a free $900.00 phone, if I switched to T-Mobile and paid $105.75 in taxes over the phone. I paid it. I was told it would ship in 3 business days, and it did. I was given an account number and transfer PIN and told to call 611 from the new When I received the new phone, it would not power on. I plugged it in to charge, and it still would not charge. The phone became warm in the box. I tried calling Metro by T-Mobile severa times for help, and only got robots, no live agent. The Metro store in Berkeley told me I could not return it there. For safety, I placed the phone outside on concrete away from my building. I am very disappointed after 10 years. I had to place the phone outside on concrete for safety because it was warm, and after a few days, the phone was stolen. Update: my bank helped me get the $105.75 tax payment back.

I visited the Metro by T Mobile store on 19th Ave and Glendale in Phoenix AZ on July 1, 2026 I was in need of a new cell phone service and Nick and his co-worker who do not speak clear English sold me a phone that I later found out I was to get that phone free for being a new customer and getting a new number. I paid $275 for the phone to start acting up three weeks later. The Samsung store tech support tried to help me with the phone they couldn't fix is so they advised me to take the phone back to Metro and Metro employees could only have me to reset the phone which would cause me more troubles to lose my apps and information. I purchased the $60 unlimited plan and the metro employees snuck (without my acknowledge) and gave me $55 plan plus insurance, not what I requested and we make my account ineligible for their current promotions. However, when I took the phone back she urged me to use the insurance which I took off the phone when I found out it had insurance (not paying for insurance when its a $40 (retail) phone. Long story short I have complained to customer service so much that they keep adjusting my payment mind you I have only had the service for two months. Anyway, Nick and I don't remember his co-worker her name are quite crooks.........PS I was to get a FREE tablet when I made my first payment I made my first payment never received the tablet - customer service said the tablet is free if I add a line adding a line costs money so the tablet is NOT free - liars.
