Repeatedly Hung Up on by Metro…
Repeatedly Hung Up on by Metro Supervisors — Unacceptable Customer Service
My experience with Metro by T-Mobile on October 21, 2026, was beyond frustrating. I called to follow up on a refund request for a smartwatch line that a representative confirmed had been inactive for 12 months. During my October 14 call, the representative also promised a separate $30 courtesy credit, which temporarily appeared on my bill before disappearing.
When I called back, multiple representatives and supervisors gave me conflicting explanations about my refund and billing history. One representative confirmed that the promised credit was never reflected in my bill.
I was repeatedly disconnected while trying to get answers from supervisors. One representative, Paul, even transferred me to a completely separate T-Mobile promotional line that couldn't recognize me as a customer. After calling Metro back, I spoke with supervisor Ralph, who insisted there was no record of the credit. When I requested that my calls be reviewed, he disconnected me at approximately 11:11 p.m.
This review is no longer about getting my money back. It's about making other customers aware of how I was treated. Spending hours trying to resolve a billing concern should not result in contradictory explanations, improper transfers, and repeated disconnections from supervisors.
I pay my bill every month, and I expect basic professionalism and respect. Based on my experience, Metro's customer service has been deeply disappointing.

I just bought my son a new phone on…
I just bought my son a new phone from Amazon and I was in the process of transferring from one phone to another. I had an issue with the SIM card. The phone was supposed to be unlocked but apparently it was not. So I called T-Mobile and because the account is under my son's grandfather, I don't have any account numbers or anything like that or my father-in-law's email address. But at first that wasn't a problem and they were able to look at his account with my son's phone number. Then they told me that I called the wrong place but they were trying to sell me to switch from Metro to T-Mobile and when I told her that I wanted to stay with Metro because my father-in-law pays the bill, she gave me an attitude. She told me to hold a moment while she transferred me to Metro. I was holding patiently and not saying a word I was sitting waiting quietly, being done came back on with an attitude and said I'm working on it I'm trying to transfer you give me a minute. I said sure no worries I'm waiting patiently thank you. And she came back and said it like three times before she actually transferred me.
Then when I told the girl at Metro what the problem was she very rudely told me that I needed to go to a store to have them help me. Both Representatives started out nice and got rude very quickly when they were not able to help me or make a sale. The second girl must have thought I hung up or maybe it was intended for me to hear, not entirely sure but I heard her say "wow" like she was annoyed or like I was an idiot for calling. I've worked in customer service and as an administrative assistant for many years and yes I get annoyed with customers, but I can't let them hear that in my voice nor can I be rude! There are many times when the customers I deal with are confused and I understand that and it is frustrating for me as well doing it day in and day out, saying the same things over and over again all day long. Guess what that's what I get paid for!!!!! As soon as his grandfather stops paying for his plan he will go on my plan with Boost Mobile, who is much better!

THE EXPERIENCE is not good!
THE EXPERIENCE is not good!
You are told to leave Metro and go to T-MOBILE because you're a loyal customer. The promotion is a New Galaxy Phone.I immediately was out of storage, lost my Amazon Prime Acct, was told I would receive Netflix, which I didn't. They said my plan didn't qualify and there not sure what Metro sold me?? THEY act as though they don't work together. Phillipine CUSTOMER SERVICE is a minimum of 30 min for a RUNAROUND. MY data is better but the overall EXPERIENCE is Not good! They couldn't be straight forward, it's not who they are.The transition is infuriating! I promised I would post a scathing review each day. They couldn't care less and are well aware of there 1.0 out of 5 .They pinheads at the top couldn't care less until it affects the bottom line.Big Corp also lose market share or go out of business.

Dishonest advertising and bad customer service
I have been paying my bill on time every month for over 3 years. Recently, my phone broke, and I purchased a used one from Back Market. The phone is a Metro phone; it's unlocked, and the IMEI is clear the phone is good. Metro says that you can switch your device online for free. I spent 2 hours trying to do that, and it said my SIM card wasn't registered; it was a month ago when my other phone broke. When I finally gave up and went to the Metro by T-Mobile store, they said they couldn't understand why I was having a problem and had it all ready to go until they wanted to charge me 25$ which I didn't have. I brought my phone home, got online, and everything was fine until I tried to switch my device. Now it keeps saying something went wrong on their part, and please refresh the page. It's just one thing after another. I strongly feel like they are making it difficult to add my new device to make an extra 25$. If I had extra money, I wouldn't have Metro. They know that people will just give up and go to the store and pay. It's rotten, and I feel like they are holding my phone hostage. It's misleading advertising; they should just say they are going to charge you 25$. They also have great deals if you switch to their service, but if you are an existing customer and need a phone, then you have to upgrade your plan or pay full price. I find that incredibly insulting, especially since I have had the same phone for a few years and have 4 lines, so I pay them $ 122.00 every month on time, and they couldn't care less about making me happy; they just care about making more money. The online AI assistant is absolutely worthless and doesn't do anything but say, Please contact customer service or go to the store. Cricket doesn't charge you to switch, and I think I'm just going to switch to Cricket.

If 0 was an option I would rate them 0
If 0 was an option I would rate them 0.
I've left messages with their A.I. agent for a call back or response. Never recieved one. I've spent hours trying to contact a live agent. Finally I get a live agent on the phone, tell her my issues, then she transfers back to the effn prompt that says " call back later ".
Every time I give my information and then ask for a live advisor or a customer service representative ( it says call back later and hangs up ). WTF!!! 3 WEEKS AND STILL NO LUCK. They shut my phone off 2 weeks after I paid the bill.
Ive removed the unwanted insurance and they added it back on their own TWICE. AT THIS POINT IT SAFE TO SAY THEY DON'T GIVE A SH$T ABOUT ANYTHING BUT TAKING OUR MONEY. ZERO CUSTOMER SEEVICE. PATHETIC
