MemberPress has been bit of a challenge to integrate with other plugins, basically PayPal, but so far it has been reliable in registering our students and taking their payments. The MemberPress developers have been excellent in integrating and correcting the issues with the rules that I have brought to their attention. This is awesome! Thank you!

The plugin is fine - but the support is lousy
The plugin is fine - but the support is lousy. They keep emailing to say our card has expired and our service is at risk - but no matter how many times I email them with screen prints of their own system showing an annual payment made in March 2023 - on a card that expires in 2027 - they do not answer the email and just keep sending the same email that our card has expired.

I have been using MemberPress for exactly 3 years. After performing extensive research reviewing all the Membership plugin options, I selected MemberPress as the platform for my website. The selection process was very important to me because I was a one-person operation, so I needed a platform that was easy to learn, but also comprehensive in it’s features and abilities. MemberPress has filled my needs perfectly, and here’s why:
Ease of Use:
MemberPress is so cleverly designed, it was simple and intuitive to create and activate my membership. All the features that I needed to create a professional membership were ready for me to populate! I was able to build out my Membership quickly and beautifully by following the simple steps provided by the MemberPress team. I was up and running on the MemberPress platform in just one day!
Support:
My experience with the MemberPress team has been terrific! The MemberPress “Hub” offers all the content and support I need to learn and activate the many outstanding features the MemberPress platform offers. And when I occasionally get stuck on an issue, the support team is always quick to respond and resolve even more complex issues. One example is when one of my other plugins was creating a conflict, the MemberPress support team was quick to reply and cleverly identified and resolved the issue. Wow! I was impressed because they needed to research code on the back-end of my website to find the problem.
New Features and Integrations:
The frequent introduction of new features and integrations has also been fantastic! I sell courses in addition to having a Membership/ subscription model, and the new “Courses” module has been the perfect addition for me! “Courses” offers a simple to use, yet sophisticated Learning Management System (LMS), built right into the MemberPress Plugin.
I was able to efficiently set-up/ transfer my membership content in the “Courses” module and begin marketing my courses to my online students. The result was an immediate increase in course sales! Now my valued customers can buy specific courses or subscribe to the membership. This flexibility has really grown my business!
MemberPress also features a wide range of Add-ons and integrations including the popular email platforms such as Active Campaign, Constant Contact, ConvertKit and many others, all to make my business a seamless, efficient operation that is easy to scale.
The newly announced integration with OptinMonster is just another example of the innovation and vision of the MemberPress Team. I can’t wait to activate this new integration into my website!

Not worth the money.
After one year, I had to left.
The only positive experience was with the support. They were really nice and helpful. And they better be, because you are going to need them constantly...
This is just a really low-quality product. Constant errors issues, no possibility to ask questions for the course's members, when some other plugin updates, memberpress has problems, half-done translation (which make you look really unprofessional), constant spamming even though you are paying them already, they try to make it impossible to stop the subscription... etc

And thank you for providing your email address so I could look over your history of using MemberPress and find where we may be able to improve. I do want to clarify that some of the issues you experienced were not necessarily caused by MemberPress itself. In one instance our support representative informed you that you simply needed to update MemberPress Courses to the latest version, and that resolved your issue.
I appreciate you mentioning the problem with course members' ability to ask questions and for those questions to be made visible to other students. It looks like our support team was able to demonstrate how you could turn on comments for the MemberPress Courses.
Regarding the constant spamming issue, I want to assure you that we follow all email marketing regulations and best practices. We strive to provide relevant content to our subscribers. We do notify current customers when there is a special offer on upgrades. Many of our customers appreciate that. But you're right, not everyone loves it. Especially if you don't need to upgrade!
I hear you, and have asked our Marketing Team to better segment our email subscriber lists so that we aren't over-messaging our current customers.
