My dogs love their food. However, the quality has changed drastically in the last 6 months. They shipped me the wrong food twice and their response was “the formula is on backorder”. I’m additional, there are large amounts of large throughout the entire bag, a lot of the food clumped up together making it impossible to feed to my dogs. They are content it late on shipping out food causing me to run out and make due. Which in return the drastic food change makes my dogs sick for days. Also, the customer service used to be amazing which was one of reasons I went with this company. It has now been over a month and no one responds to text messages, they do not have a phone number to reach them, and I have to send several follow up emails to get a response. Lastly. I attempted to cancel my subscription once and was told the supervisor would be contacting me, after speaking with her she told me if I cancel and decide to resubscribe the price would drastically change.. how does that make any sense at all? I tried writing a review on their website but there is nowhere to write one, you can only read other 5 start reviews. Which tells me they are clearly paying people for reviews. Save your money and look for something else. I am canceling my subscription as we speak.

I was initially quite pleased with maev for the first few weeks. Then I started to notice inconsistency in the product shortly after. My dog was already raw fed but I soon noticed an increase in water intake and larger softer stools after a few weeks on maev. After my pups monthly weigh-in I noticed weight loss which shouldn’t occur on a 10 month old xl bully being fed over 4000 calories/day according to Maev’s feeding guidelines. Then my next 40lb order arrived with absolutely no dry ice and it was completely thawed out. Then my pup went on a three day hunger strike and completely refused to get near maev. That was the final straw for me. Now I’m currently still attempting to cancel my subscription and being completely ignored. I’ve since gone back to feeding my pup homemade raw and he’s looking better already. Maev has been a terrible experience for me both in the quality of the food and the customer service.

I’m so disgusted with the customer service and experience with this company. I’ve been using them for a couple months. I noticed that the vegetables and fruit were always at the bottom and despite trying to redistribute it, the first half of the bag is all meat and chunks of fat, while the bottom half is mainly veggies. I was also sent the wrong formulas twice. I chose to ignore this based on the ease of introducing raw to my dogs. I’m in a very busy season of life and have had little time review other raw companies. However, as of today, I’m 100% done with maev. I’m trying to cancel, but they don’t allow you to do it from their website. You have to ask over email. When you do, they say they’re going to send your cancellation “request” to their supervisor! What the heck? Just cancel my subscription. Why do I need to be approved? On top of this, they sent out TWO orders and charged me for both. How did this happen? I got my order over the weekend. I should not be charged for another 10 weeks as my subscription states. The customer service rep in the email, whose name is HAROLD, was totally rude and dismissed my concerns merely stating they will not be refunding me. I think they hide negative reviews on their website and pay people to write positive reviews. This company is only interested in money, not your dog’s health. Head my warning and do not give any of your money to Maev. I’m reporting them for fraud to BBB and my credit card company.

Can't begin to explain all the improvements I've seen since starting my 11 yr old dog on this raw food. Not only is she OBSESSED with it, but she has more energy and an easier time getting around...she gets on and off the bed quickly and jumps in the car like she did when she was 6. Thank you Maev!!

Don’t use if you expect consistency, communication, or have any expectations. Also, if you pay for 5lbs, you expect 5lbs, not 4. Weigh your bags!

Great food. Horrible, horrible, horrible logistics and customer service. We’ve been using Maev for <6 months and our dog absolutely loves the food, but getting the food is unreliable to a point where we’re ready to switch to another food product. We ordered food over a week ago, and our shipment was delayed. We finally got the package today after several days of feeding our dog chicken and rice in the interim. The package we received was a bloody mess, totally thawed and unusable. You would think Maev would offer to overnight a replacement order, but no chance. They are again using standard shipping, and it will take ANOTHER 3-7 days to get to us. Oh, and they don’t ship over the weekend, so that clock starts on Monday (it’s Friday currently). Regardless of food quality, why use a product that you can’t reliably receive? And they have no numbers to call, no customer service to talk to directly. To prospective customers, do not use this product. To prospective investors in this company, do not invest. I’m done with Maev, and you should save yourself the money and headache.

This has been by far the worst customer service experience I've ever been apart of. Outright trickery and tactics to force people into a subscription with the promise of easy cancelation and then not allowing me to unsubsccribe from my account dashboard, rather requiring it to be done thru a "customer service specialist " Late responses and making me submit my request thru multiple communication platforms i.e. text, email and callback. When I finally got a response to my cancelation request, I was informed that it wasn't canceled it was simply just paused. When I told them no, I want it fully canceled the response was that a supervisor would need to reach back out to me thru a phone call. I have requested this phone call on multiple occasions and yet many days later still have not received one. I have also tried texting again to request a phone call for this cancelation and they have stopped responding all together. I plan to write this review on every platform I can imagine and if this doesn't work, the next step will be to contact my lawyer.

Organic food matters not only for people actually. It also matters for pets. So, I have decided to set up special meal regime for my dog, because he is too fat. I guessed that he required a bit of diet, however I have read plenty of forums where dog owners advised to try to make your pet to sit on a diet. I also wanted to try this thing and thus i faced this website which offers plenty of organic food for pets. I ordered here everything I needed and it was shipped pretty fast, I didn't even require to go out. The food is awesome nowadays my dog is being fed up only with this food and I will definetely apply here once again.
