I've never dealt with such horrible customer service. You can't get in touch with anyone and when you do, they don't do what you asked them to do. I've been asking to cancel my subscription for weeks and each time they delay the delivery date. That's not what I asked! DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS! Also, not enough protein, mainly just vegetables. I'll NEVER use Maev again. DON'T DO IT.

I have been a long time customer and this company used to provide high quality raw beef mixes for dogs but recently changed their contents. They included raw potato which is highly toxic for dogs, massively reduced the amount of meat and replaced it with far too many vegetables for a canine diet. End result is they made my dog sick. Would never buy from them again as they put their own profit over the health of my dog.

Really disappointed in their new mixture and their costumer service. The old mixture was great. Had a ton of meat and our three dogs really loved eating it daily. However, the new mixture is awful. We typically order a huge supply and we now regret not buying a single bag of the new mixture before purchasing in bulk. There's barely any meat in it now and it's almost all veggies! Our one dogs is sensitive to too many veggies and the peas in the old mixture never bothered him.. but now the zucchini and green beans from the new mixture gave him diarrhea for three days and we are now having to open other bags to compile enough of the meat to feed our dogs. We've contacted Maev through phone, instagram and Facebook regarding this issue but nobody has got back to us and it's been a week. We want a refund because this is unacceptable. I was hoping the first bag was just a fluke but we've opened three bags this week and the others aren't much better.

I never write reviews, so for me to write something has to be really wrong. Of course company changed the recipe. First order received of the new recipe and its all green string beans. Original beef recipe bag had approximately 1/3 of vegetables and 2/3 of beef protein, with a protein analysis of 31.8%. New revised recipe bag containers 3/4 of vegetables and less than 1/4 beef protein, with a whooping protein analysis of 10.8% protein. This wouldn’t be an issue if my dogs were vegetarian and as dogs ofcourse this is not the case. My dogs never ate the vegetables with original recipe anyways but I didn’t mind. However now that I am paying 250 dollars every 3 weeks for overprized frozen peas I do mind. If I wanted to feed my dogs frozen vegetables i would go to dollar tree and buy bags of peas.

Initially very happy, the formula has changed, to salad with a hint of meat. Its garbage now!!!! Wait till you get the next bags, I got my monthly supply, Its salad, with the hint of meat. Had a feeling this company would go down the more, more, more , profit...

I have experience feeding raw for 14 years. I decided to try ordering raw for convenience since my work load has increased. I ordered from 2 other companies and finally decided to try Maev. Here is my opinion: Pro: Sleek packaging that fits nicely in a regular-sized freezer. Vitamin boxes are convenient. Con: Bone broth is almost always stuck in a giant clump as if it melted and refroze. Zipper closure on bags can be difficult to align and seal properly. Pro: Food is bite-sized and my dogs love it. Con: There are often large clumps of food that has obviously thawed and re-froze. I have to get a knife out and hack away to break up the clumps. Both my dogs work hard to avoid eating the bone broth cubes. Even if I try to hand-feed them, they refuse to eat them. I have to completely thaw it and pour it over the food in order to get them to not waste it. Pro: I like the bundle options Con: Most of the food seems to look identical. I literally cannot tell a difference between Hip and Joint and Weight and Digestion. Hmmm... Con: Every. Single. Time. I want to change my order or delivery date, the website fails. I ALWAYS have to email for an employee to update my order. Always. It is aggravating. Until my most recent efforts this week, I have had a somewhat prompt email response and the employee has been helpful. HOWEVER, I had a DOUBLE order sent which cost me a fortune because they failed to UPDATE and instead, made an ADDITIONAL order. When I am spending $250+ on one order you can imagine how hefty that unexpected expense was. My husband was livid. They awarded me "points" rather than refunding the money. This time, when I tried to update my order, I have not had any success getting a person to help me. I did receive an automated email, treating me like a brand new customer. My original order was not sent and my account still shows wrong order dates. If they DO send my order, I have no doubt it will be incorrect since the website does not reflect the changes I tried to make...nor does it reflect correct shipping dates. I'm going to run out of food and will have two dogs with upset tummies and bowel issues as they are abruptly forced to a new food. One is 14 years old and will not transition easily. The other thing I will mention is that a large portion of the bag of food seems to be green peas and kale. I could easily and cheaply provide those items so it is disappointing that I am paying such high prices for mostly inexpensive food items. The more I think through this as I write this review, the more I realize I need to return to creating the raw diet myself. (Insert a very deep sigh here!)

This is the ABSOLUTE BEST RAW FOOD ON THE MARKET! I have an English bulldog and when she was 12 weeks we switched from her dry pro food to Ollie, to Farmers dog. She had horrible tear stains and gas. Fast forward a couple months and I switched to Maev! TEAR STAINS GONE! GAS GONE! She is full of energy and so happy! The best decision we could have made.

Horrible customer service, terrible website, & low quality food for a raw diet. Their website doubled my order because it was not working properly and customer service wouldn't refund it because it had already shipped out. Then a couple of weeks after making the switch the food started to make my dog very sick - vomiting, lethargic, constipated, & black poop. Again customer service was not empathetic in the least and would not refund my order and only offered to send more of the same food that made him sick to "try again". All in all STAY AWAY. Much prefer my ollie & open farm to this terrible company.
