Be careful about the subscription they sneak in there. They can’t cancel anything once the subscription order goes through and they will not refund anything. Didn’t sign up for any subscription, they just sign you up if you order anything. Absolutely ridiculous.

WASTE OF MONEY
WASTE OF MONEY, my dogs usually like lamb anything with lamb flavor or lamb meat but they didn't even eat one piece. I cook fresh cooked meat or liver every day for them but this food they didn't even look at it they both turned their faces. I was hoping they will like this food and i don't have to cook for them any more but frankly this food has 85% vegetables and maybe that too maybe 15% meat. I had to throw it all away cause it will take a lot of space in my fridge what is the point when they are not eating it. What a waste of money. My dogs are used to having freshly cooked lamb or liver this didn't interest them, I tried giving them directly of course I kept it to become a little closer to room temperature then I tried to cook it and see if they will eat it but after attempting both these methods, I said let me separate the meat and see if they eat the meat, I took 2 cups and tried separating the lamb meat and honestly the proportion of vegies and meat was 85% vegies and 15% meat then also they did not eat the meat and then I tried cooking a little of the meat but still they didn't like it cause I guess it had the flavor of the veggies. So finally I throw the whole thing out. If I could give no star at all I would. Maybe other dogs love it cause their owners have never tried cooking for their dogs real meat. I work 8 hours a day but I still find time to cook for my dogs fresh meat or liver that too the liver i make it barbeque for them, fresh every day. Please don't waste your money for falls advertisement.

We have a Boxer (Bentley) and Bulldog…
We have a Boxer (Bentley) and Bulldog (Buster). Both are picky eaters, but the boxer is the definition in Websters Dictionary for being a picky eater. He has always been a sick dog that won't eat and when he does he constantly vomits and will not eat anymore. He has been on numerous prescription diets that do not work. We have aways purchased expensive food (like Happy Howl & Butcher Box dog food) for him and he would vomit it up. With Mave it seems very simple, you can actually recognize everything in it and it looks like something I could cook and eat. Thank you for making a great product for my dogs. Please do not sell out to the big brands as that seems to always happen and then they finds ways to cheapen it up.
Thank you,
Clint

Great food - terrible customer service
While my dog thrives on Maev food - the issue is the lack of customer support and ongoing delivery issues. I have been a customer of Maev for years - due to the quality of their food. However every other month there is a new issue with delivery and when you ask for help it is delayed and usually not helpful

Great concept, but my dog wouldn’t eat it
The food may be high quality, but unfortunately my dog refused to eat it even after 10 days of trying. I understand the no-return policy, but I was disappointed that there was no flexibility or alternative solution for unopened bags. I wish the company offered a satisfaction guarantee for first-time customers.

Unreliable fulfillment, no accountability from leadership, and a sick dog.
Unreliable fulfillment, no accountability from leadership, and a sick dog.
I was a Maev subscriber for several months feeding my 100 lb, 9.5 year old Great Dane Gilda. The fulfillment was never reliable. Wrong dates, unexplained delays, and zero proactive communication when shipments were late. Every time a shipment was delayed, I had to bridge her diet with other food, which caused repeated bouts of GI distress in a senior large breed dog.
The final straw was an order confirmed on May 18th that sat unfulfilled for over a week with no communication. When I followed up repeatedly, I was told it had shipped. It had not. The FedEx label was created only after I escalated again, and the order did not arrive until June 2nd.
Customer support, specifically Samantha, was genuinely kind and responsive throughout. The failure was entirely at the leadership level. When escalated to management, the response was a $100 credit. That was their answer for a senior dog suffering repeated diet disruptions due to their own fulfillment failures.
I have since canceled my subscription, disputed the charge, and transitioned to another provider. I filed complaints with both the Texas and Colorado Attorneys General.
The food itself is good. The company behind it is not ready to be trusted with your dog’s health.

Top tier support
We have been using Maev for the last three years and can’t say enough good things. We have only ever had one mishap in a shipping delay (this happened recently) and they immediately made it right and sent us a replacement. Can’t say enough great things about this company and the customer experience provided.
