I have not received my Viva Lift Recliner Chair yet because it’s sitting at Southeastern Freight waiting to either have delivery changed to bringing the chair to my door like I thought Flat Rate Shipping was or be returned to MedMart and I’m charged a shipping fee and restocking fee because me a 80 year old cripple woman can’t get the recliner from my apartment curb to my door. MedMart falsely advertised their Free Flat Rate Shipping and doesn’t state no where on their shipping policy that Freight Shipping means curbside delivery. All it states is that the customer may be charge an additional fee if their item ship freight and nothing else. MedMart rude and unprofessional Rep Anna and Manager Margaret who cut me off a medically challenged elderly customers when I was speaking, over talked me or just screamed at me. Mgr Margaret also blamed me for my shipping problem by stating that I should have known that any package over 150 lbs would ship freight and be delivered curbside. Now who would know that, especially since it doesn’t state that information on MedMart’s shipping procedures/policy. MedMart gives their medically challenged and elderly customers the bare minimum shipping unknowingly to them because MedMart wants ALL its customers to pay over $200 for the White Glove delivery and setup no matter if you can’t afford it or don’t need it. If you don’t pay for MedMart White Glove delivery and setup you item is placed on the curbside and you don’t find that out until the day your item is being delivered. I stated to Mgr. Margaret that one day she will be 80 yrs old and karma will come back to her for how she was treating me. Mgr. Margaret called Southeastern Freight even after I told her their insurance doesn’t allow them to take any items in a building, upstairs or in elevators just to hear them tell her the same thing. Even the staff at Southeastern Freight felt MedMart did me wrong but due to their insurance couldn’t help me. All of Mgr. Margaret’s offers to me came with me paying someone additional money to get my recliner to my apartment on the 3rd floor. Mgr Margaret called my management office at my apartment complex without my permission because she thought I was lying about not being able to get the maintenance staff to get my recliner lift chair from my apartment curb to my apartment door. When it was confirmed Margaret stated that she was only trying to help me. I will never buy anything from MedMart and I advise EVERYONE NOT TO BUY anything from MedMart. I will make sure my horrible experience with MedMart is posted on ALL social media websites, so everyone will know how MedMart treats their customers after they get their money. I’ve contacted the BBB, and filed a complaint. I’m going to contact Ohio’s Attorney General about MedMart falsely advertised Flat Rate and Freight shipping as well as the Dept of Aging in Atlanta, Georgia and Cincinnati, OH. MedMart doesn’t care about its elderly/medically challenged customers all they care about is selling expensive products. Of cause MedMart won’t take responsibility for their rude and unprofessional employees or how they falsely advertise their Flat Rate and Freight shipping, which only shows how terrible the company is. When a company has no way for you to reach their CEO or any corporate staff that shows the company don’t want to address any complaints or bad actions of their employees.

Hello, We appreciate you taking the time to write out a review with us. I would like to address a few of these matters please. Our website is open to the public 24/7 and we disclose as much as possible and have many different resources for assistance as well as have product specialists and customer support agents available from 9am-8pm EST 6 days a week. We do also have our SHIPPING POLICY located on the page of every item on our site and suggest if there's any questions about this policy, to call us for help. That shipping policy is located here; https://medmartonline.com/shipping-policy/ We understand the population of people we work with and have been for nearly 40 years. As a manager in this division myself, I took the liberty to call your assisted living to see if there was a solution they can help us with for you with maintenance or groundskeeper, etc. in which many instances works. We do this for our customers often as we will do what we can, when we can. No one here thought nor suggested you were lying about anything. In listening to your hour call with Margaret and Ana, both were extremely polite and patient with you while being yelled at and berated for extended lengths of time and Margaret was coming up with several solutions of how to help you in which you accepted none of them and wouldn't pay $1 more to get assistance. Although a discount was provided on your order, she even offered to meet in the middle on price and that was denied. She understood you were upset and empathized with you completely. She even advised if she were your neighbor or near you, she would come help you herself in which you wished bad karma upon her. We do offer in home delivery and set up service for an additional charge which was not selected at the time of the order and this order was placed in private discretion and not with anyone of us directly. We do pride ourselves on having staff on hand to help our customers before, during or after their purchase with us to help clear anything up at any time. We do wish you find a solution to help get this 160lb delivery made safely and secured as we do not wish to charge you return fees, that doesn't help either of us. Should you wish to have a tech come and assist which is still an offer, please give us a call and we will happily assist in adding on that service and helping get this into your 3rd story unit safely. Kind regards.
