Absolute worst customer service. I cancelled my entire order and will never order from this company again. 2 months after I paid for a dining room table and 4 chairs I received notification that the chairs were ready to be delivered. The delivery was canceled due to weather. I rescheduled. No show. Called they said that they were rescheduled. Turns out no they were not available for another 3 weeks. I asked for the status of the table 4 times! No response. I have cancelled the entire order. Do not waste your time with this company .. btw, when i called the delivery company the first time my husband and I both looked at each other when we heard a rooster in the background. Very unprofessional..

I’ve ordered from McGee and Co twice and have had both of my orders messed up and received not so good customer service. The first time an item was completely forgotten and I had already waited months for the shipment to come so I just asked for a refund. The 2nd time the customer service rep was clueless on what she was doing. My item said it was “delivered” to a town nearby and when I contacted them they just said it’s been delivered and signed for and after I pointed out that it said a completely different town they said “oh that tracking must have been sent to you by a mistake”.. I called multiple times and left voicemails and nobody returned my call for days... At this point I noticed my item had gone on sale for 15% off ( I was within 30 days of ordering and most companies usually honor that discount and all I got was a no when I asked).. after four days they finally figure out what’s going on with my order. Honestly I’d rather support other small businesses if this is how I’ll be treated every time I order from you.

I would give a “0” if I could. My experience has been a nightmare. I ordered a console table and when it arrived, it looked nothing like the image on line. Extremely yellow in color and it was obvious something wasn’t right. The response I received from Customer Service was that they don’t do returns on furniture. They claim that every piece is inspected at their warehouse before delivery. I can’t see how this is possible since it was delivered in a box marked “made in China”. Clearly importing furniture and sacrificing quality control. The quality is awful with an extremely high mark up. Don’t make my mistake!!!!!

I want to love McGee & Co. I follow their show, Instagram, etc. I want to support their mission and be a part of their success however, it’s quite challenging to do. The first item I ordered I was sent a completely different item. I’m giving two stars because they were responsive and got me the correct item ASAP. I ordered sconces on January 4 that were on back order until February 5 which I need for a bathroom remodel. It’s February 12. I’ve reached out to customer service and no response. No sign of the sconces nor a potential ship date. I guess I will be ordering sconces elsewhere and hope they get in touch with me to offer my money back.

Beautiful furniture but the worst customer service! You are unable to speak to anyone. Have to depend on having texts or emails answered, which often times takes days! Items took months on end to ship. One item lost and it took months for a “claim” with the vendor to go through, to just have the item “re-appear” all banged up. Vendor sent item with no protection whatsoever and item arrived damaged! There is a huge disconnect between the store and it’s vendors and it will be the downfall of the store. BEWARE! Worst purchasing experience!

I'm giving them two stars because they've curated a cute selection of items. HOWEVER, everything there is insanely marked up. I have found the exact same items at Arhaus (another beautiful store) for literally a fraction of the cost. I'm not sure the reasoning behind this OR how they're getting away with it! They also will charge your card the full price of an item that they do not have in stock. I have purchased multiple items, was charged full price for them and then it took at least 6 months to receive them. One of those items took so long to get here, I ended up purchasing something else instead. When my Studio McGee item FINALLY arrived the told me I'd have to pay for the shipping back to them plus a 20% restocking fee!!! Seeing as I can get the exact same pieces at a different store for a better price and better customer service, I won't be buying from them anymore.

I can relate to many of these reviews. I have two orders that were placed over a month ago. Neither has been fulfilled and I can't get through to customer service. When I left a message, I received a call back two days later and was in a meeting so I couldn't speak to them then. She told me one of the items I'm waiting for was shipping. It still hasn't. That was over 2 weeks ago. I texted. A rep finally responded the next morning. I responded back and haven't heard from them again. That was 2 days ago. There hours say 8:00-5:00 M-F (which is terrible). It's Friday, 8:50 am. I just tried to call. No voicemail option; just a message that says they are closed. The Mcgee's clearly don't have the business knowledge and readiness for this online store. They should reset, help the many customer's waiting, and then start back up if they can get a more reliable supply chain and staff properly.

I ordered a vase from McGee and Co back in November to give to a family member as a Christmas gift. It had been a while and the order hadn't come so I contacted McGee and Co to see if it would get here by Christmas. I was told my order was marked as "urgent" and would be mailed out by the end of the week. I then received an email a couple days later and was told I was getting a refund because they ran out of inventory on my item.. 6 days before Christmas. I reached out to customer service and they were apologetic but offered no rush shipping for a different item or future discount. I normally wouldn't care this much, but now I find myself in a bind to find a good Christmas gift 6 days before Christmas. I will not buy from this company again.
