I purchased two ottomans and a rug from this place. The ottomans were very cheaply made and a different color than pictured on the website. When I attempted to return them through McGee and Co.'s customer service contact, they informed me that I would be responsible for returning the items. Each ottoman weighed 14 pounds and came in a 20 square inch box. The cheapest shipping I could find for both packages cost me almost $200. The ottomans were a little over $200 each. Then, when the rug I purchased came in, the wrapping was ripped open and the rug was filthy. The delivery guy told me to refuse the package. Thankfully I listened because I would have been responsible for that return out of pocket as well. When I contacted customer service following the delivery refusal, I was informed that if I wanted a refund, they'd have to submit a claim and wouldn't be refunded until after the claim was processed which they estimated would take at least 5 weeks. This is hands down the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.

I made many great purchases and they all arrived timely and the customer service was excellent.

Wallpaper is beautiful. Arrived in a reasonable time frame.

I purchased some fabric samples. I intend on making a bed purchase in the near future so these samples only helped to solidify my choice. Although it did make for a tough decision in the beginning, I believe that having the fabric samples in hand is the only way to of made my ultimate decision. Thanks for providing me with the samples so quickly and without any problems.

I love McGee & Co.’s style and always enjoy receiving my magazine in the mail. I would like to provide a few constructive points to the company - A few of the items I ordered did not ship for over 6 weeks due to being out of stock. Before I completed my order, this information was not included (about the items being out of stock/back ordered), and I had to reach out to customer service to find out. There is a general statement on the website saying that some items might be out of stock, but it would be helpful to know the specific items before purchasing. When I reached out to customer service, they could not give me a timeline and only said that it would be - “a few weeks.” They refunded my shipping for the hassle, which I appreciated. Once I received my entire order, I had some returns to submit. Instead of having a seamless online return system, they sent me a pdf to fill out with item descriptions, names, and item codes, all of which I had to look up and fill out on an iPad, which is cumbersome and inconvenient. Then my return shipping was almost $50, which is not covered by the company. I would consider McGee & Co. and higher end company - this is not their Target line- and the customer experience needs to match the price of these items. If I am paying $200+ for a pillow, I expect my shipping/returns to be covered, and to be told up front (before my order is submitted), that this item is out of stock and it could be months before it will ship. Like I said, I love McGee & Co.’s style, but I will think long and hard before ordering from them again.

Haven’t received it yet and it’s been over three weeks. Reached out to customer service and they said it was in the “shipping process” and would ship shortly. Then received an automated message a week later saying that my order can expect a 14-18 business day delay. Great communication
