Well, I have been dealing with Mazda Headquarters. They were trying to get me set up with what they call a Goodwill program. I need a new engine! It is supposed to help with repairing serious issues with my car. I just heard from them and was told that my claim was denied to fix my engine. I have a 2015 CX9 Mazda with 67,000 miles.. I did research on the issue I was having and there are many other 2015 CX9 that have the same problem and got stuck with a car that needed a new engine because coolant somehow got in the engine. So you see, I am not the only one with this problem . The car was very expensive and not worse. What I paid which was over 30,010 years ago. So buyer beware ! I purchased it in January 2016. They said my car was over 10 years old and they cannot help me at all. I take good care of my car. This has taught me a lesson to never ever purchase another Mazda the rest of my life.. I am so disgusted and have had other issues with it a couple years ago. Enough is enough. This car is the worst car I’ve ever had. Avoid Mazdas at all cost. It is not dependable. 

Here is the Mazda Corporate response to their known defective A/C part on MX5's from 2019-2022 that fails so often they issued service bulletin: 07-002/21 yet refuse to pay for replacement, it is probably time for a class action lawsuit on everything Mazda refuses to issue recalls for! We respectfully disagree with the customer’s assertion that Mazda has “lied” regarding the availability of reimbursements for air conditioning concerns on 2019 MX-5 vehicles. Mazda does not maintain a general reimbursement program for vehicles subject solely to Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs). TSBs are intended to provide diagnostic and repair guidance to authorized Mazda dealers and do not establish a reimbursement or warranty extension program for customers. Mazda’s reimbursement submission tools and processes are specifically tied to active safety or emissions recalls, where federal regulations require manufacturers to provide reimbursement mechanisms. As such, the system correctly accepts only VINs associated with active recall campaigns. At this time: There is no recall related to the air conditioning system for the customer’s vehicle. There is no reimbursement program applicable to this condition. Any repairs performed outside of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty are the responsibility of the vehicle owner unless covered by an applicable Mazda program. If the customer is referencing a specific Mazda webpage or communication suggesting otherwise, we respectfully request that they provide a copy or link to that material so that we may review and address it directly. Mazda remains committed to supporting customers within the terms of its warranty and any applicable programs. Should the customer wish to have their vehicle evaluated, we would be happy to coordinate with an authorized Mazda dealership to ensure an accurate diagnosis and discuss any available goodwill assistance based on the circumstances. Ultimately Mazda Refuses To Pay For Known Defective Parts They Produce This Is The Latest Response To The BBB Complaint: Paraphrased: "The Warranty Expire, Owners Pay For Repairs" Why should owner have to pay for a part that failed NOT as the result of time and wear but actual poor design by the company? What other major failed parts does Mazda hide with Service Bulletins instead of a proper Recall?

2025 Mazda CX-5. Mazda requires you to subscribe to their app JUST TO USE AUTO START! You cannot connect to Apple Car Play or Android Auto without using a cord. American brand vehicles allow you to use Bluetooth. No GPS unless you pay for it, Mazda will not give you the SD card for maps because they assume you can use Android Auto or Apple Car Play.

Hace ahora un poco más de 3 años, compré un Mazda CX60 de los primeros que llegaron al país, la verdad que estoy bastante disgustado con la calidad del vehículo así como con el servicio prestado por la marca. Quieren imitar a las marca Premium pero solo eso imitar ya que su servicio no llega a la de una premium y la calidad tampoco. Totalmente desaconsejable o por lo menos aquellos que estén mirando nuevos vehículos en lanzamiento

Mazda Customer Experience specifically directed me to work with service manager Wil Smith to coordinate a Mazda-initiated oil consumption test — a warranty matter. I left three separate voicemail messages on three different occasions. He never called back. Not once. This isn’t a minor inconvenience. A warranty process stalled entirely because a service manager couldn’t return a single call. Eventually, the dealership withdrew from the test altogether with no explanation. If you’re dealing with anything beyond a routine oil change — especially anything warranty-related — know that when it actually matters, this is what you can expect: silence. Mazda corporate confirmed the situation in writing, which tells you everything about how normalized this behavior is at this location. I don’t leave reviews lightly. Three voicemails over multiple occasions with zero response is not an oversight. It’s a pattern.

RUN WHILE YOU CAN. DO NOT BUY FROM ANY MAZDA DEALERSHIP. I had bought a 2016 Mazda 3 hatchback with 37k miles on it. Not even 20k miles later the steering was acting up. I took it to the dealership and they told me they couldn’t duplicate the issue and that it wasn’t a problem. Fast forward 4 years, the part finally gives out because I knew it was, and now Mazda is avoiding responsibility and mechanics are avoiding doing the work so they can get some small work out of me without losing my business by telling me it’s the steering rack. Not only was the problem not fixed at 50k miles when I noticed it (and while my car was still under warranty) It’s progressed to the point of a MASSIVE SAFETY HAZARD, and yet Mazda still does nothing. Learn from me please. Do not ever trust the Mazda corporation with your hard earned money. Never.

If you are planning on buying a Mazda CX50, please beware of their brake issues. After owning three new CX5 models, we decided to upgrade to the CX50. The promise of engineering and performance prowess was too good to pass up. The previous CX5 models saw well over 70,000 miles before front brake pads were needed. The CX50 needed front pads and rotors at 21,000. Same drivers, same equipment, and same driving conditions. Mazda’s answer to the CX50 front brake wear was that anything under 12,000 is considered premature wear while anything over that mark was normal. Other local owners have experienced this wear situation at 12k and 18k miles. This points to Mazda knowing about a CX50 issue, and due to the number of units in operation, deciding to deny, deny, deny. The other brake issue is one that is a head-scratcher. The emergency brake automatically engages when the CX50 is in park as a safety feature. The CX50 will have a loud “BANG” when the rear brake disengages after being parked overnight. The “BANG” has varying levels loudness; the worst being if the car has been driven in the rain. The CX50 was left in an inside parking garage for a week. It was difficult to move in reverse as the rear brakes would not release under normal throttle. The throttle was increased, the car squatted, and the rear brakes released with the loudest “BANG” yet. The car lurched out of it’s parking space. I felt very fortunate that no person or vehicle was close before I could jump on the brakes. There has been a litany of small annoying everyday issues with phones, milky backup camera, and phantom “hands-on-wheel” warnings. The past Mazda quality does not shine through to their CX50.

In 2023 Bought a CPO 2023 Mazda CX9 Grand Touring with 3k miles. Person had purchase, but traded back in when 2024 Cx90's finally came in they wanted...was only previous owned for a coupleonths...Vehicle warranty states it's still under factory warranty, and because it's CPO is covered an additional 12k miles. Vehicle was purchased at a dealership a great distance away due to inventory. Vehicle was then serviced by local dealership. After 2 oil changes, about 9k miles on odometer, we were having brake issues. Dealership wanted to replace all calipers, rotors, and pads. They claimed it was due to "environmental" related failure. I had a second opinion done at our local garage who services our other vehicles. They showed the caliper slides were seized...there was no grease, factory or otherwise applied to the slides, and caused them bind, ruining the pads rotors and grinding the calipers. Went back to the dealership with this information, also mentioned this should be under warranty...they refused, stating it was, "environmental that caused the issue". So, we went to Mazda directly, explained the situation, and after having to argue the point repeatedly...they offered to supply the parts ONLY... And they refused to allow us to have the parts installed by our local garage... They would only supply the parts to be installed by the dealership, who still wanted $1500 in labor to remove and install the parts. Our local garage was 1/3 or the price for labor. All in all, Mazda just ignored us, and did nothing...we ended up having the local garage but the parts and install...with no issues since. We found out from people who work at the Mazda dealership, Mazda uses the phrase "Environmental" as a way to get out of paying or honoring their warranty issues ...many other customers have had similar situations and been denied the same way...It was our first time buying a Mazda, and it will be our last... I wouldn't recommend to anyone...a company that weasels out on doing the right thing, certainly doesn't deserve my business...
