Walk’n Eli in Style
Dear Pride Staff, My mane is Bill Harger. I do not consider myself disabled in that I can walk 50 feet before I have to stop for a minute or so before the next 50 feet. At the age of 89, I realize I am blessed. There’s is so much information to listen to and so little opportunity to actually sit on and test drive the Mobility Scooter that my research thinks is right for me. Throwing caution to the wind, I plunged in and have never looked back. One phone all to Marc’s Mobility and a chat with Jill convinced me to go ahead. My entire life has been changer for the better. For the first time in “Eli’s” life our 2 year old Australian Shepherd’s life, someone other than my wife can take him for daily walks. Eli and I now walk/ride 8 to 10 miles every day, and yes, I charge the batteries 12 to 14 hours each might. My daughter bought me a small NC license plate with the name “Free Willie” and free me it has. I have now met my neighbors and know where the various streets, roads and circles are. The scooter is strong and reliable, uphill and downhill, grass or gravel. I added a cup holder for my coffee in the morning and my Manhattan in the evening. Life is good. (Who said you can’t drink and drive.) Thank you all for manufacturing this Pride Victory LX Sport and for Marc’s Mobility for any necessary assembly and fully charging the batteries and shipping it to me, on time and ready to ride. Thanks guy’s. Though I have only had it since August 17, 2022, it’s daily use convinces me that “Free Willie” and Eli and I have many trails to travel together. Sincerely, Bill Harger
