I flew from Auckland to London via KL with three suitcases. I only had two booked but MA charged me £1500 for the additional suitcase and then lost it en route. It was finally delivered a few days after my return however when I complained they eventually replied with a most unpleasant officious letter saying I couldn’t claim for any compensation and didn’t even offer the gesture of tier points. I will never fly with this airline again. The planes were dated, the food nothing special, and although some of the cabin crew looked pleasant enough, my stewardess was very bad tempered and severe.

The plane was 2 hours late departing because it was waiting for some people. The thing is, they knew we were going to be late but didn’t communicate that before we boarded. I find it really shitty to trick people like this. We had to run because our previous flight was late, only to end up waiting 2 hours on a plane which was hot.

If I could give 0, I would have given it. As their customer service is one of the worst I have ever came across, I have rescheduled my flight paying nearly $500 where they charged me price difference and admin fees which was ok now when I’m rescheduling again where the ticket price is way cheaper than what I have paid for then they’re asking another $300 for as admin fees and no refund of any price difference. Well when this one was raised they brushed off and arrogantly responded that either I pay or travel. Which was very shocked, they told me that one the manager will call me to resolve this matter and after 10 hours of wait never got any call or email from customer support!! Never again!!

They delayed my flight for random reason and my friends also faced the same issues with different flight. If you are travelling for emergency, don’t book malaysian airlines. It is going to check your patience anyways. Good luck, really disappointing and worried that I am unable to give 0 rating.

Great dissapointment with my experience with Malaysian Airlines on June 14. We arrived at the airport in Bangkok with plenty of time and we were NOT allowed to board our flight due to some supposedly missing documentation that we actually provided. So, we were denied boarding and we were NOT allowed to get a refund for the flights and incredibly also got charged for the UPGRADES that I paid. This is such a poor example of the customer service of this ariline that I will spread the poor service thru all the reviews in social media. What a horrible experience with your customer service.

I booked tickets for the whole family from Australia to India. Flights were cancelled just days before the travel and forced to take layoffs over 30hours at Kuala Lumpur. No apologies, no compensation or accommodation. Just hate it! Be warned everyone

One of the worst airline that I ever had experience in my life, they just reschedule one of my connecting flight, but won't to refund it, and when I asked for reschedule, they asked me again to pay almost worth to buy a new ticket even the ticket schedule I pick was lower than actually I paid before.
