Enrich Points
On Dec 19 2024 I converted 6750 points (2 transactions of 4500 and 2250) to Lotus Vouchers RM100 (RM50 each). Although the points were promptly deducted I never received the Lotus Vouchers.

A Terrible Experience with Malaysian…
A Terrible Experience with Malaysian Airlines – December 2024
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Malaysian Airlines during my flight on 7 December 2024. At around 2 AM, while boarding in Perth Airport, I was harassed and bullied by the ground staff simply for carrying a 3kg laptop bag in addition to my hand luggage.
Despite airline policies typically allowing a laptop bag as an exclusion, the staff insisted that I could not board with two items. When I questioned why this wasn’t mentioned at the check-in counter—where I was assisted by the same person—they had no valid response. Moreover, I pointed out that several other passengers were carrying two items, yet I was the only one targeted.
My friend, who had no hand luggage, kindly offered to take my laptop bag, but the staff refused this reasonable solution. To make matters worse, the supervisor of the Perth Airport ground handling team rudely harassed my friend, telling them to board immediately or risk missing the flight. She then gave me an ultimatum, demanding that I choose within three seconds which bag to take—or be denied boarding entirely.
Under pressure and with no fair resolution, I was forced to leave behind my Samsonite handbag, which contained my camera—an item I could have carried separately. After filing a formal complaint, I was met with zero accountability from the airline. Instead of acknowledging their unprofessional behaviour and poor customer service, they dismissed my complaint, claiming they were simply following "procedures." Not even a basic apology was offered.
For an airline that boasts about “Malaysian Hospitality,” this was an appalling display of rudeness and harassment. I have always known Malaysians to be warm and kind people, but Malaysian Airlines' staff do not reflect that reputation. This experience has completely eroded my trust in the airline, and I strongly discourage others from flying with them.

Extremely Disappointed – Never Again
I have traveled extensively throughout my life, but my experience with Malaysia Airlines was by far the most frustrating and disappointing. The recent changes to my flight, coupled with unexpected extra costs, were incredibly disruptive. What made matters worse was the complete lack of proper communication and support from customer service.
As soon as the first change was made to my flight, I attempted to get in touch with a Danish-speaking representative, but I was met with unhelpful and difficult-to-understand support. Not only was I unable to get clear information on how to proceed, but I also felt completely ignored and left in the dark.
The lack of transparency, poor customer service, and the overwhelming frustration throughout this experience have left me with no desire to ever fly with Malaysia Airlines again. I cannot recommend this airline to anyone based on my experience.
Avoid at all costs if you value your time, money, and peace of mind.

Malaysia Airlines - Seat Changes once booked and paid
I booked Malaysia Airlines to travel from London to Kuala Lumpur in July 2025 and selected 3 seats payable. When I changed the seats it cancelled the seats (3) and when I complained told that in terms and conditions its stated that changing seat voluntarily will cancel them. Any change will be charged again. So what ever DO NOT CHANGE SEATS once booked and paid. This is illogical as last year there was facility to change it. PS it does not mention anywhere this.

Malaysia Airlines stole my money !
Malaysia Airlines stole my money !
Booked flight from Langkawi to Bangkok via Kuala Lumpur on 08/11/2024.
About 4 weeks before the flying date first flight was canceled.
New flying dates were on 07/11/2024 departure an arrival on 08/11/2024 in the evening. So one day to stay at the airport in Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysia Airlines didn't react when I wanted to cancel and have my money back.
They simply kept my money.
That's what thieves do.
(I booked a flight instead with Scoot)
