Not as described, stay away!
Ordered and immediately changed my mind and canceled three orders. Next day received an email that said “We’re very sorry, but we are unable to cancel your order at this time because it has passed the cancellation timeframe and is already being processed. Once your order ships, you are welcome to return it if needed, and we can provide instructions to make the return as smooth as possible. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.” I asked for the return process, but still to this day zero response. The orders eventually arrived after 3 weeks via DHL I could also tell by the size of the packages the pieces were much smaller than what is shown on the website and advertising. Still waiting for the return process, packages are still unopened. Stay away from these guys!

This is a scam
This is a scam! Ordered two sets totalling £34 on the 6th December. No confirmation that goods are on their way nearly two weeks later. No response to two emails!

Arrived but not as described
Like other reviewers I ordered, received a confirmation email and then nothing. The order eventually arrived but....It was much smaller than what is shown on the website and advertising. So small I would be cautious letting young children play incase they put the small magnets in their mouth. I ordered the three sets and now glad I did as the size of the game would require all the magnets to actually enjoy playing.

Poor service - no word on when I will receive my order
Similar experience as others have reported here. Order placed on Dec 6 - email sent on Dec 14 to MagnetChess to enquire re status - they reported order still being processed, even though website states orders are processed within several days! Have not had any reply to further emails questioning if I will receive my order prior to Christmas. Update April 29: I cancelled my order a few days prior to Christmas when I realized I would not receive it in time to give as a gift. I did receive my order in Jan! However, one of the beads was broken. I have sent multiple emails, requesting to get this bead replaced - obviously they don't actually read these emails, as I would eventually receive a reply about "not receiving my order" even though I had included a picture of the order with the broken bead. I eventually received a message asking me to include a picture of my order with the broken bead, which I again sent to them and have not heard a word back since. A truly disgusting experience!!!!

I ordered a set on December 7th and got…
I ordered a set on December 7th and got an email response that the order was received. No email saying that it was shipped and no replies to my inquiries about my Christmas gift. They are scammers and thieves. Someone needs to find out who they are and shut them down. Next stop...my bank. Urgh.

!! SCAM !!! Do not do business with this company!
*** UPDATE Feb 2026 *** I did receive my order just in time for Christmas. The product was as stated online. 2 stars due to the lack of communication, professionalism and care. While I'm grateful this company didn't scam me, I will not be do business with them again. *** Original review *** I placed an order for three sets of MagnetChess with MagnetChess.shop on 12/2/2025 confident I would receive my order prior to Christmas. I've been charged for my order, however, as of 12/18/2025 my order status is still showing "waiting for details". I've reached out to this company several times requesting a simple update. I've received no response. Considering we're now less than 1 week from Christmas, I was going to cancel my order and find a similar product elsewhere, however, in efforts to do so I found out that this "company" charges a "5% administrative fee" that will be deducted from my order total prior to issuing a refund. This is a scam! Do not order from this company. You likely won't receive what you paid for and they'll charge you for cancelling your order once you figure that out.

Ordered and heard nothing
Ordered and heard nothing. Bought for Xmas presents. A confirmation of order and I cannot get any news on shipping. Not even answer to email enquiry.
