Auction post said it was a complete set of golf clubs. Yes they were all there half broken. Messed up buying golf clubs for 152 dollars and half broken shouldn't have been Auctioned they should of thrown them in the trash. The picture showed the set was new in box

I bid on this item and won . The next day I check on it to see if it is being transferred to my auction site to pick up. It was in paid status, since I am a premium member I have an extra 7 day and free transfer. Well now two days later I can not find my item in system it has gone missing. So after calling in and having several reports files to find out where my item is, I now find out that they are refunding me for what I paid for the item. No explanation on what happened to my item. I don’t want a refund I want my item that I had bid on and won. So far I have no answers other than a refund being issued back to me “WHICH I DONT WANT”. So Mac.Bid is now in the business of screwing people over ! THIS IS NOT THE ONLY TIME I’VE HAD AN ISSUE WITH MAC.BID. There have been others ….. like items they list are Junk, should be put in trash not sold in Auction , they mis-represent items, missing parts,…..the list goes on and on. I am done officially . I hope this help others before bidding on mis representation of an item that is Like New or In Box but is really JUNK ! WARNING : STAY AWAY People .

Steer clear. When I first started bidding on items at macbid I had one or two duds that I simply wrote off as bad luck. Lately, every single item I’ve gotten on macbid been unusable. For instance, a fry daddy fryer that was in the box, with the lid completely melted and busted, the utensil completely melted and stuck to the pot in the oil that was left in the pot (still boiling hot clearly) before some upstanding citizen shoved it back in the box and returned it, so that the equally upstanding citizens at macbid could make a profit off of selling straight garbage. A toddler swing missing most of the parts required to assemble it. A shoe rack also missing most of the parts required to assemble it. Sizes misrepresented. Photos on their website not being accurate. You can pay an additional $7+ for a “buyers guarantee” that then allows you to return the package, but you DO NOT get a refund on your buyers guarantee fee. It’s an absolute mess and they clearly do not inspect packages before putting them in auction to rob you of your hard earned money. Buy lottery tickets instead, you’ll have a better chance at coming out ahead.

Two items bought said like new. One was obviously filthy and not new and the other was completely broken. They don't check any of their items and they lie about what is like new. They don't actually know it's like new cause they don't test any of it and are quite deceptive. Buyer beware a lot!!!

Loved the idea of getting things a little less expensive for my classroom (I am a teacher.) However, items are often not represented fairly. The item will say "Like New" or "Open Box", which implies it has been checked. However, only one picture is often shown (the original from Amazon or Walmart) or the closed box. However, at least 70% of what I purchased was missing pieces, instructions, or was completely broken inside the box. I spent more buying replacement pieces to things than I might have if I had just ordered the items new. If you want the option to return and item, should it be broken or missing pieces, each bid costs an additional $7 insurance policy. May be worth it on high priced items, but not only other things. I REALLY wanted to like this and feel like it was a win/win, but after a summer filled with fixing and replacing things I purchased, I am officially finished.

Pos company. I drive 40 miles each way and purchase "like new" item missing parts. Ill just buy it on Amazon

Watched the bidding clock wind down to zero...no other bids for the item over a 5 day period. I won it (so I thought) with my $1 bid... 30 seconds later, with no visual movement on the bid site, received an email stating i lost the item to a $2 bid. I now believe the rumors of Mac Bid employees making fake bids to jack up prices.. Done with those crooks.

I am absolutely fed up with MacBid!! The amount of fees that they love to tack on to every single item along with the fact that you have to be a member in order to return items or even shop or pick up already purchased items at certain times is ridiculous. I arrived today at ten thirty a m to pick up my items that were a birthday gift for my mother and even though they were open and others were shopping and picking up their items , I was not allowed to because I didn't have the nine dollar and ninety nine cent membership fee that would allow me to pick up my already purchased items. To be very honest with you, it made me feel rejected and less cared for because I couldn't afford the $9.99 membership fee part.\nLy do because I pay four dollars for every individual item that I purchase from their website as a buyer's premium as well as fifteen percent buyers fee!!! But I'm not privy to pick up my already purchased items at 10:30 AM once again. Because I did not pay my $9.99 membership fee, which, by the way, can go all the way up to $299 for the year? Inclusivity is a thing that everyone should feel not just the ones who can afford it! Inclusive- including everyone and ensuring no person or group is left out, regardless of their background, identity, or abilities. It can also describe a package or price that covers all costs and services. WORST AUCTION HOUSE EVER!!
