If you want to buy people’s Amazon’s returns for junk Mac is the place! I won a bid for a pair of hiking boots. The picture showed a new pair but they were actually worn with holes and even pet hair inside ! I showed the manager but he said they were an open box item and since I didn’t buy insurance (which you pay for and isn’t refundable). I throw them in trash and left. I stupidly bid again on a bottle of face serum and the bottle was completely empty, Family & friends had same experiences. I’ve deleted the app and will purchase on Amazon directly to avoid the garbage. Don’t waste your money or time.

Don’t use Mac bid. I “won” a dehumidifier that didn’t “ dehumidify”, a ceramic heater that didn’t even turn on, a roll of Yenhouse marble surface covering that turned out to be some cheap, thin shelf paper. A video of the same UPC showed to apply with a heater to bend the material. This sheet ,my 2 year old granddaughter could fold.

Honestly if I could give this company less that one star after today I would. I have been purchasing items through their online auctions since February 2023. I have been a good customer. Oftentimes the items are missing parts or have damage that is not disclosed in the pictures or descriptions. However I know they are an auction site for returned items so I don’t expect to get items that are perfect. Recently I bid on items that were for my wedding in November. Today they cancelled these items and returned the charge to my credit card and put my account on hold. This was due to a credit card chargeback from over a month ago that they never contacted me about. Their remedy was to shut down my account and return items that I had planned to pick up today. When I reached out to the company to find out why I was unable to access my account they told me about the chargeback from my credit card company. I remembered my card company had texted me to verify the purchase as it was over $1000 and I did just that. After that I’m not sure why the credit card company charged back the items but shortly after this (about a week) I had a real fraudulent charge on my credit card. The credit card company texted me and I verified it was not a purchase I had made so they immediately shut the card down and issued a new card with a new card number. Trying to make this short the M@c Bid customer service rep said that it would be unacceptable for me to offer them another form of payment. That the only remedy would be to insist that the credit card company reverse the chargeback on a closed card number. It seems ridiculous to me if they want paid for the item as I was offering to do just that. I wanted to make sure that others beware if the item is something they really need for an upcoming event. They returned my PAID FOR items to inventory so that I could not pick them up. In addition, they did not refund me the charge I paid to have the items transferred from one warehouse to another. I’m posting this so that others beware… if you need the items and don’t have time to get them another way don’t trust M@C Bid. Too much can go wrong that is out of your control.
