I purchased a couch at living spaces in 2023. decided to get a fabric couch and get a warranty. After a year and a half one of the recliners fabric started to fray. I would not consider this normal wear and tear. but decided to file for warranty coverage and was declined. After reading terms and conditions the coverage literary covers nothing. Do not waste your money in this store.

This company relies on deceit and ommission...
This company relies on deceptive business practices and omission of facts to get you to pay more than you should. We should have looked at the plentiful reviews from hoards of dissatisfied people before we went in. Now we're getting the run-around with their customer service, filing a formal complaint, and disputing charges with our credit card company.
Our Experience:
We came into Living Spaces in Irvine on Technology Drive ready to purchase a new couch. Unfortunately, our experience with salesperson David and Sylvia (manager), and everyone within their so-called "customer service dept" has left us beyond dissatisfied.
We purchased a couch at 8:37 PM, only to discover early the next day, that a better configuration was available that would have saved us nearly $1,000--but the option was never shown to us. We immediately called (less than 24 hours later) to make the change and were told that the changes could not be made and that our purchase was final immediately following the transaction, as it happened after the 8:00 PM deadline. We were never told of this 8:00 PM deadline while we were making the purchase. We were surprised when Sylvia, the manager, told us that there was nothing she could do to help remedy the situation despite acknowledging that her salesperson omitted the more affordable option. She offered to return the couch for a 25% restocking fee which would end up costing us nearly the same amount as the money we would have saved with the less expensive option. She was comfortable letting us walk away knowing that her salesperson's mistake cost us nearly $1,000.
We asked to have the matter escalated and were provided a phone number to their customer service or complaint dept. We promptly called and were told someone would reach out. Customer service basically said (in-writing) exactly what the store manager said - "...we're sorry that our salesperson didn't tell you about the cheaper option...but you're only option is still to cancel and lose nearly $1,000...or keep the couch we forced you into overpaying for...". I'm paraphrasing, but that's basically their response.
BOTTOM LINE: If a company or anyone within a company makes a mistake (or worse), that company should find a reasonable accommodation for their customer IF they were interested in taking care of their customer.
Living Spaces Furniture is NOT interested in taking care of their customers. The voice and feedback of a massive # of reviews at less-than-50% satisfaction rating is all you need to know.
Tread carefully when shopping here. Better yet, go support a smaller, local shop that values you and your business.

Terrible Customer Service
if I could rate 0 stars, I would. I went in on the holiday weekend to buy a couch I had found online. it was the Araceli sectional in faux leather, taupe color. The sales rep was polite enough, but definitely didn’t want to be there. and I was sitting on the material I wanted to order. So that went smoothly, I thought.
Then, delivery day came. I got rid of my old couch to make room for the new one, got everything set up, and it gets there, and it’s the wrong material. right couch, right configuration, opposite material. it was fabric. So I refused delivery. I called the customer service number to let them know the situation, and THEY COULDN'T HELP OVER THE PHONE.
I had to drop everything and go to the store to get help. But then they couldn’t process the exchange until the wrong couch got received at the warehouse. They said they would call me the following day to order and schedule delivery.
The following day comes and they call in the morning, order and confirm the furniture, and schedule for 2 pieces to be delivered that evening, and the 3rd to be delivered from a different warehouse in a few days. That was fine with me. I was told nothing else needed to be done on my end.
SEVERAL hours later, they called and asked why I hadn’t submitted the payment for the couch. I told them that I had financed it through synchrony, so no payment should be due. I was then informed that I needed to use my synchrony card to pay the new balance (which was the exact same cost as the original order). Problem is, I don’t have a card because it was a newly created account.
So they told me they needed to re-process the synchrony application. They apparently can’t do that over the phone either. I was told I needed to come in to give them my ID. But at this point I’m on vacation out of state. So they canceled this order too.
So I go online to order it and apply for financing online. But the delivery date magically changed, with the earliest being listed as 4 weeks from that date.
I called to find out how I couldn't get a closer date, as I was told it was in stock in the warehouse.
Magically, it is now out of stock (the representative on the phone assumed). I asked for her to look, and she told me she couldn’t without the SKU number, which I didn’t have.
Every person I spoke to on the phone was dismissive, rude, and unwilling to transfer to someone else when I requested. They are unable to help with the most simple things on the phone, always telling you to go to the store. But none of the store locations have a phone number listed either.
Needless to say, their promise of easy delivery is DEFINITELY not true, and I will be couch-less for 4 weeks.

Honestly the y are keeping my money…
Honestly the y are keeping my money because they said that the pillow I bought was used. What a joke. The pillow was designed like rolling up a blanket and putting it in a pillowcase. I never used it because I knew it was tooo hard for me. I spent money to return it and they said that it did not qualify for a refund or exchange. I agreed to an exchange reluctantly because they told me that I had to pay 30% restocking fee and cost to ship. Bull. But I’ll check in again later to see if this small company is still in business. I can’t see how they can steal from people like this . I told them to send my unexceptionable purchase back to me. I doubt they will.im not done with this company yet… LOL. I only gave 1 star because I couldn’t…
I only gave 1 star because I couldn’t give a zero. We ordered a massive 500lb patio table made of rock with a large slab and two legs (pillars) back in April. The delivery was delayed over 2.5 months and we just got it delivered last weekend. To our shock, only 1 of the 2 legs were delivered with the slab. We called and were told the missing leg would be shipped and we’d get a tracking number or a call from them in 24 hours. Neither happened. We called 2 more times until we were finally informed it is out of stock and now we have a huge rock slab and 1 leg taking up out entry way and they refuse to provide refund until they get the slab and 1 leg back, even though they screwed up and we waited 2.5 months for a crappy incomplete products. Never get anything from Living Spaces if you actually want what you’re looking at online. And they are not helpful or responsive and they do stole our money now for about 3 months and don’t have someone coming ot pick up the partial furniture they out in out entry way for another month. Be aware! Stay as far away from this company as possible. They, they’re customer service, refund policy, and product turned out to be complete trash!

Defective Sofa in 1 Year – Living Spaces Refused Warranty & Repairs
Bought an L-shaped sleeper sofa from Living Spaces in June, 2024
🔸 **Sleeper mechanism FAILED completely** (won’t pull out despite gentle use).
🔸 **L-seat cushion sank unevenly**, causing loud noises and an ugly, lumpy surface.
🔸 **Customer service dismissed us** – said the 1-year warranty expired (absurd for 1500$ furniture) and only offered a third-party repair line at our expense.
This is clearly defective materials/workmanship. Avoid Living Spaces if you expect durability or post-purchase support. Their ‘warranty’ is a joke.*"

I ordered an end table and a coffee…
I ordered an end table and a coffee table from them. The end table was in stock, so I picked it up from the store I ordered it from. The coffee table was not in stock, and would have to be brought in. I accepted this, and was told it would be delivered the following Tuesday - pretty quick turn around- so I thought. I received a call the day before my delivery was supposed to occur ( 8:00 am to 6:00 pm). They told me the delivery was going to be delayed. I accepted the delay and rescheduled for a week later. Got another call the day before the 2nd delivery was supposed to occur, telling me once again the delivery was going to be rescheduled. This has gone on now, three times. I am supposed to be getting the coffee table delivered 6-22. I'm not holding my breath.

I ordered 2 sleeper sofas one was…
I ordered 2 sleeper sofas one was missing the legs. Called to have them send me some and they said they don’t have them and there’s nothing they could do about it. Secondly, I ordered a custom sofa and after 3 months I called numerous times to see my delivery date . Come to find out the sofa was lost and the fabric that I choose, which was a brand new fabric , is now discontinued. No one ever called to let me know! Customer service is pathetic. Never again will I ever purchase anything from them again!
