Review bombing abound...
Most of the negative reviews here boil down to the fact that people don't read about their purchase before adding items to their cart. LRG releases games as a pre-order. If you add items "In-Hand" to the same order as a pre-order, then they wait to ship your entire order until after all items are In-Hand. Anyone complaining about buying a game and waiting months to get it are either illiterate or review bombing. LRG is also very open about the fact that they don't own the exclusive rights to any games they publish aside from their first-party titles. Any company can reprint games with another company if they wish. LRG however will only release the games once per console. This rarely affects the value or rarity of LRG releases, as most people distinguish the versions. Think of it like a lesser version of a Greatest Hits press vs a Black Label PS1 game. Most people want the Black Label copy and the price reflects that. People value the GH versions as a separate release and that rarely devalues the BL copy. Especially years after release. These games will appreciate in value after the consoles they are made for are not longer current gen. LRG takes great care to keep stock limited, yet accessible, while providing rough timelines for game releases. If you don't understand LRG or how and why it operates, you can't blame the company. Educate yourself before "wasting" money. I haven't had any issues with address changes or purchased items not being replaced if they were damaged or lost by USPS. Any time I have had an issue, however rare, I contact support and they address the problem within 3-5 days. I've never even been charged shipping to replace a lost or damaged item. Be patient, know what you are buying and realize that release dates are flexible. Be informed, know the publishing rights of every game you buy and research the developer before buying something thinking it will only ever be printed once. Be proactive, if you have an issue with a release, contact support and give them all the details needed. If you get a rep that doesn't give you proper support, create a new ticket and follow up. LRG is a great company, a pioneer of limited print releases, and they truly care about games. If you don't understand what they are about, how they operate, or have little patience, you are in for a bad time.
