I love the people that are on here defending Limited Run Games like they are their PR department. I’m writing this review because I’ve ordered the Scott Pilgrim Vs The World Collectors Edition, and boy has this been messy. Yes, there are supply chain shortages, yes, we are going through a pandemic. But damn, we are going on month 14 of waiting for this. I’m more annoyed with the quarterly update, they like to invite you to see all the new stuff they have for pre-order, but these extended wait times is kinda ridiculous. You should absolutely offer people discounts for these egregious windows. At this rate it will have been a year and a half by the time I get this.

J'ai commandé chez eux des collectors de Shantae, Doom 64 et Doom. Certes il faut être patient, le temps de la production et de l'organisation des envois, mais la qualité est chaque fois au rendez-vous. Un grand merci à eux pour le contenu, ce sont de superbes pièces de musée. Je recommande et continuerai de commander sur leur site !

I've been advised by Trustpilot moderation to alter the names etc, as Limited Run games have flagged my review. If I could award them with zero star's, I'd do it. Seems I must not include any items you might purchase, or insight users to agree or disagree under some loophole this game company used and complained to Trustpilot with.. So writing a review that may change a user's mind about something is wrong? So doesn't this defeat the object of a Trustpilot review in the first place?. (Don't we all decide by another person's view of something at one time or another?) As for Liimited Run? "I still say "In my opinion" that you have Limited intelligence if you hand over large sums of money for games that will only ever be worth anything to the people who purchases them. For instance.... Imagine a game that involves a lot of DOOM and GLOOM. Imagine it's a classic compilation of old shooters that you would love to own on your favourite current gen console. Now Imagine it being sold by a company that sounds like Rimited Lun games: For an eye watering £499.00, on a site that has the same name as the Amazon jungle.. That's what I call over excessive and ridiculous, at £200.00 this game compilation would still be overpriced. But I'd have probably paid it. It seriously begs belief in my opinion, that companies like this are generating a false shortage of physical games, at extortionate prices. Games usually earn a collectible status and gain value by age, condition, and availability, not pre generated for profit. "In my opinion" Avoid these rinsers. And I am allowed my opinion "Limited Run."

I have to give LRG some credit, it's cool that games that normally wouldn't get a physical release are at least getting *something* of a chance at that, but in a market that's constantly being overrun by scalpers out to make a quick buck, having an arbitrarily limited release window doesn't really do much to get games in the hands of actual gamers. Their products are supposedly made to order at this point anyways so what even is the point to locking that down to such a short window, especially when everyone is going to have to wait months and months to actually get what they payed for anyways! So much about their business model screams "scam" at worst and "incompetence" at best.

TRULY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. Tried to pre-order an item here and the product is still in production after almost a year. They keep blaming the pandemic but, how come items that I pre-ordered from other companies were shipped within their given timelines. This just reflects how badly they prepare for their product releases. I am no longer excited for the product I ordered. Right now, I just want to get what I paid for.

So limited you won't even get a copy Games announced with a few months lead time take over a year (still no sign) and no updates Try any of their social media and they just constantly blame "global situations" which is clearly nonsent because I'm not seeing this kind of problem with any other products. (They often cite the vinyl shortage but as a collector nothing has been delayed by more than a few months max) Total shambles of a company that seems to be kept afloat by a loyal base of masochists

Purchased content several times from this company. They don't update very often, even after long delayed shipment(almost a year late before). They also don't abide by the limited motto. On multiple occasions either games are released elsewhere shortly after the "limited release" or they use their platform to artificially inflate products value. I've seen them selling their own products that weren't released to the public, but distributed on eBay etc. The bird King game is one example. I reached out to try and get some understanding, but was deadlocked in an artificial concern loop. If there's anything else we can do please don't hesitate, I'm so sorry for the frustration etc. This company is not genuine, look into strictly limited or special reserve, haven't had the same problems with them yet. If you have better luck then you're one of the fortunate few, but when you drop several hundred dollars on a lie time and time again it starts to turn you bitter. This company embodies the American capitalism hierarchy. Basically it's a screw em, we don't need em, plenty of other suckers will make us more money mentality. Lie, deflect, make profit at any cost. I'm all about loyalty and trust. I'm also pretty reasonable, but I'm burnt out on trying to care about a company that clearly doesn't care about me.

I understand that you are pre-ordering items (typically) when purchasing through LRG but, the lack of customer service when reaching out to get updates about my order is troubling when I dropped quite a bit of money, being told the item would ship in 3-4 months, to still not have said item a year later with only 1 update provided to me after 9 months. I followed up with the ticket I submitted for LRG daily for 3 months and never received a response, they closed my ticket without responding or resolving the issue. I would highly recommend staying away from this business.
