The Wonderfulness of Feeling Safer
Because of the reasons I decided to obtain a Life Alert product, now that I have that, I feel safer when at home and out and about and especially if I am out and about alone.

Not happy with GPS variety.
Twice when I tested the gps button, it did not know my location or didn't go through to the call center. Once at home, once away. I know it depends on cell towers, but I wouldn't recommend the gps.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review Joseph. We are aware that at times the GPS does not properly show the location, and as you have said, this is usually dependent on cell towers in the area. This is something that we have been consistently working on the past year, releasing updates that better allow the GPS system to track the location as well as making the processing speed faster. This continues to be something that we will work on as available technology evolves.

There are a few times my Mom has fallen…
There are a few times my Mom has fallen and the fall detector has not recognized the fall. Other than that, we are very pleased.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review Karen If you are unsure about whether or not your fall detection is working properly i would recommend calling our customer service line to see if they can test your device to make sure it is working correctly.

3 of my elderly family members are using this. It has made my life easier and the company is so easy to deal with. I highly recommend LifeStation!

My mother accidentally activated her…
My mother accidentally activated her alarm without realizing it on one occasion. I wish they had called her phone number as she didn’t hear the machine in another room and paramedics were dispatched. The call system worked as they called the numbers I had given them in order. The problem was their caller ID only showed an 800 number which usually means advertising so we didn’t answer. I wish the company name showed for ID. Otherwise it was good to know the system worked and the EMTs who came in her door were very nice about it.

It is unfortunate that the number was seen as being advertising, but a good way to avoid that in the future would be to save the number in your phone. This way in the future if we have to reach out again you will be able to identify us and hopefully we can avoid any issues.

No answer to alarm
I have no problem except that 2 times the alarm went off and no one called.
