Lifestance Health has a high-volume, assembly-line model that is a professional failure. It resulted in actively detrimental care and an absolute crisis for our family. Our experience was defined by unqualified therapists whose negligence nearly destroyed our marriage: The "marriage counselor" demonstrated a toxic bias, exhibiting zero accountability for infidelity by coddling my husband all the while being harsh toward me, compounding the crisis. It was abundantly clear she was not qualified or likely even trained marriage counseling let alone infidelity. There was little to no consistency to the sessions and no accountability for not completing her nonsense homework assignments. Even worse, my husband's Lifestance individual therapist fostered a relationship that resembled enabling his poor decisions and blame-shifting toward me instead of creating confidence and accountability in him, essentially coddling him through the emotional turmoil that led directly to a secondary affair. The entire time he was under her care he was, frankly, a miserable human with his anxiety and poor communication skills worsening instead of improving as one should in therapy. It was blatantly obvious these Lifestance therapists were in over their heads, yet neither had the ethics to refer us out, choosing instead to prioritize their paycheck over professional duty. The proof of Lifestance’s abhorrent practices was immediatee once we switched to a specialized, trauma-informed therapists (outside of Lifestance). This led to the drastic healing that saved our marriage, confirming Lifestance's severe lack of true compassion and expertise. Finally, after we discontinued care, Lifestance demonstrated a total disregard for boundaries by continuing to contact us despite being explicitly told we had switched providers. Well they may employ therapists who are good at their niche areas I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy for their mental health. The assembly line MoneyGrab business model that they have is detrimental to the mental health community. Read your reviews thoroughly about your counselors and read what they actually write about as their areas of expertise before agreeing to see them. Don't be afraid to fire your therapist if they aren't working or you can tell you are not getting better because Lord knows they're not going to tell you because it's money out of their pocket. You're mental health is NOT their priority, creating life long cash flow is.

They take your money even when you cancel within 48 hours. Over thanksgiving I was locked out of the portal and couldn't reset my password. Cancelled within 72 hours and left a message with the phone service and took screenshot of email on their website. They didn't care. I explained it all to the agent on phone who responded to me like robots do, always having the same answer or response."i'm so sorry ..I don't know. Didn't treat me like a human being at all. This is a therapy treatment company and they their gatekeeper is a troll with a smile. Not a good look.

They took our our copay before the session and warned us about the fee if we missed our appointment but then did not show up at all. This is how you help I person in need?

Convenient systems, my psychiatrist is fantastic and flexible. I’m a Minnesota resident living out of state temporarily and doctor is licensed to practice in both states which is amazing and a huge relief regarding my continuity of care, being in two states across the country and being able to maintain the same doctor is as good as gold to me. Thank you.

Dr Kwon is an excellent provider for our mom. He is very kind and thorough. He has helped my mom in so many ways and thanks to his expertise, she is doing so much better! Thank you Dr. Kwon!
