Dr Suzanne King is a piece of work. I was there to see if I had ADHD and in less than 15 minutes she told me that my family was bipolar(she doesn’t know them, and they were never diagnosed as such) and therefore I MUST be bipolar… even though she actually knew very little about me and I’ve never had a manic episode, ever, and I’m 64 years old. She learned everything she needed to make a judgment about me from a 40 question questionnaire that could only be answered with multiple-choice answers ..No subtleties or nuance allowed. I asked her how she could diagnose all of us without knowing any of us and with almost no information and she said “that’s my job.” then she prescribed me an antipsychotic medication called risperidone but told me it was just so that I could sleep. I don’t trust that doctor and I told her so. It was THE craziest half-hour therapy session of my life. Be careful.

Lifestance has a solid reputation based solely in the quality of their practitioners. It is a second or third class company, that has sold my son's provate information without authorization and that has overcharged my insurance exhorbitants amounts of money that get passed to me due to my high-deductible structure. Beware of shady procatices, very poor customer service and questionable insurance practices. That said, their practitioners are solid, with great backgrounds and immaculate performance. Too bad they are connected to Lifestance.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I was supposed to have an appointment with the nurse practitioner via zoom. I logged in and made the copay, which is required before it will log you into zoom. I waited and waited for her to show and eventually gave up on waiting. I later called to be refunded my $75 copay and was told the appointment was actually cancelled but no one told ME! She then said it could just carry over to my next appointment. A couple days later they charged me an additional $25 to total $100 for a late cancellation fee. When I called to get THAT refunded as well as the $75 the person told me that it wasn’t an option. She refused to let me speak to a supervisor or anyone else and was very rude. So this company stole my money and made no apologies for it. I thought at very least the nurse practitioner would refill my prescription but she refused to do that as well. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. UPDATE: now they’re trying to bill me for another $100. Good luck getting that POS!

Kimberly Loken in The Woodlands, TX only after two sessions without listening to both of us at couple’s therapy suggested to separate our Family. My wife attempted to commit suicide two weeks after. My wife continues to see her (behind my back and my insurance paying for it) and my son and I are navigating through a nightmare. Run away from this one as fast as you can!

I have been with LifeStance for a few years now & have had a great experience. I initially worked with Dr. D'Oyen and recently started seeing Dr. Joseph as Dr. D'Oyen left LifeStance for another position in his psychiatry practice. I had my first appointment with Dr. Joseph last week and could not be more pleased. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Her expertise ranges from the treatment of anxiety, ADHD, and other mental illnesses. Dr. Joseph really listened to my concerns and provided much needed assistance and treatment. Not only do I feel like she heard me & understood my concerns allowing me to speak freely & honestly. I look forward to working with Dr. Joseph. I am grateful for her treatment, for LifeStance and plan on sticking with them for as long as they are around. I highly recommend Dr. Joseph and LifeStance to anyone who requires treatment and needs support with psychiatric issues. Thank you. Cheers!!

I needed help and got it! Appointments were reliable, help was there for me.

Rachel Henderson made me to be comfortable from intake on. She remembers the issues I bring up and provides strategies to help. She is very good at listening when I bring up a sensitive issue.

The therapist I saw twice was lovely but on the SECOND appt she felt I needed a therapist who specialized in skin picking (when anxious). Mind you when I booked the appt, the "professional" scheduling coordinator asked a lot of questions & then she gave me 2 therapist choices, noting that neither had treated skin picking but they did treat anxiety. Back to the therapist at the 2nd appt, she said she'd put in a referral...& I had to call the main #. The main # is a bothersome impersonal recording (just the kind of thing you need when you're having emotional issues): press 1 if X, press 2 if Y, press 3 if yadayadayada. So I chose a number & the pick 1 or 2 or 3 started all over again w/more choices AND I wasn't even sure I'd picked the correct # to begin with. I tried several times which made me ANXIOUS. Finally I chose 1 and then 1 again & I was asked to 'please hold.' After a sec, the machine said I would get a call back in 5 minutes. I waited 45. No call back. It is now 2 days later - no call. I think perhaps the Life Stance corporate structure has a Medicare (insurance for older Americans) prejudice because Medicare pays poorly. Ageism at its finest. And FYI the phone recording you 1st hear clearly states they do not accept Medicaid (which is for low-income people) & it pays worse than Medicare. Life Stance is run like a business - not a healing place for people who are having issues. So why treat poor people? I mean surely they don't have problems. (sarcasm) I am not on Facebook, nor TikTok, Instagram or any of that, but I feel so under-served that I need to warn others. However, if you want to add to your unhealthy emotional state - sure, go ahead & call them.
