Took the plunge for lens replacement
LensDirect convinced me a lens replacement was possible after the coating on my trusty 22-year-old glasses delaminated so much that using them became an exercise in seeing around the bubbles. I received a postage-paid package to send in the old glasses within days of placing my order; the package contained clear instructions *and* a small ruler to measure interpupillary distance, along with other ways to ensure my new lenses would fit well, such as dotting pupil positions on my old lenses with a marker (I used water-soluble paint). At first, I was reluctant to let go of my old lenses (They still work! Sort of!). I received a followup email reminding me to send my glasses in. Instead I sent questions to customer service. Kayla at LensDirect replied quickly and considerately and assured me that not only does everyone get their old lenses back, she'd make sure of it with an extra note. It's good to take the plunge after decades of procrastination.
