I placed an online order 7/8. That same day, I realized this wasn't the best place to eyeglasses after reading all the negative reviews. Their email order confirmation had 2 links, one for checking "order status" & the other to send a copy of my prescription. Clicking on "order status" said "there's no record of any order." Wthell. This same email stated that if I didn't send any copy of my prescription, they would "cancel" my order. That's what I wanted! Instead, Lenscrafters billed me on 7/11, just 3 days later. Got to get that $612, huh, Lenscrafters? The pair I ordered, a Michael Kors design arrived on the 7/16. Atleast they were quick to mail out to me. They arrived. They looked nice, had the features I ordered but simply closing the glasses, they didn't fold up like a well-made designer pair of glasses! The arms wouldn't lie flat. Bizarre. And one arm was looser than the other. It led me to believe these glasses are cheap knock-offs but being peddled as "real designer" eyewear. I don't believe it! What I paid for them is not what they are worth. Next, I tried them on and they would just fall off my face. Ridiculous. Lenscrafters should never had sent them out to begin with & they stated they wouldn't but now I have to bother to return them. I wouldn't order from Lenscrafters again.

I broke my glasses over three weeks ago. Went to LensCrafters and ordered an expensive pair of glasses. Advertised as get them in 1 hour. After glasses paid for was informed they would have to be sent from lab. Two weeks later no glasses. I called and after much hemming and hawing was told they must have lost my glasses and would have to order again. Still no glasses. I will never buy another set of glasses from LensCrafters.

Purchased two pairs of glasses, $800. Picked up the sunglasses on Saturday, took them out of their case today, Monday, for the first time. One of the arms got caught and they hit the tile floor. Three scratches.. .on scratch resistant lenses. Went to the store....pound sand. Not their problem. We got your money so leave us alone. Not even an offer to replace at my expense. I took my prescription sunglasses into Lens Crafters to have someone put a lens that has fallen out back into the frame. The technician spent about a half hour trying & said the problem was that the frame was bent up. When she was able to get the lens in securely enough for me to wear them, she told me there was no charge but a good review would be nice. So, here it is. Thank you so much. I've worn the sunglasses for over a month now & the lens is still in the frame!

I already have a bad taste in my mouth about this company, and I haven't even received my prescription sunglasses yet. First they lied about method of shipping. It says the method of shipping is UPS special care. That is not the case. It's actually UPS Mail Innovations. What that means is they ship it to UPS for UPS to ship it through USPS. USPS provides no specific tracking information, you can not leave specific delivery instructions either. If your item is $500.00 or more this option is available through USPS. Unfortunately for me my sunglasses only cost $200.00 out the door. $400.00 retail, or so LensCrafters.com says. So I'm hoping my $200.00 pair of sunglasses that the mailman will be stuffing in my mailbox doesn't arrive damaged or damaged in my mailbox or possibly stolen from my mailbox because I'll have know idea when it will arrive because I can't track it. I will also update on if my prescription is correct and the craftsmanship. I've read alot off negative posts about this company and their parent company Luxottica Retail. Shame on me for not doing any research before I shovled out my hard earned money to these money grabbers. This will be my last time purchasing anything from this company. I should of stuck with SVS Vision.

Was very easy to order and apply insurance. They have a great selection, I am very picky and there were 4 frames it was hard for me to choose from. I did use the virtual try on extension and the glasses I received were a bit larger than the preview showed on my face so be wary of that.
