Lemon SqueezyReviews of lemonsqueezy.com

I spent a week setting up a LemonSqueezy account and loading the digital files I was selling. Jumped through all the verification hoops. After 3 days of waiting for account activation, they said a video demonstration was required. I provided it. Then they took another 4 days to decide that I was not approved, even though I fit all of their criteria. No explanation. No appeal process. I abandoned L.S. and built a working Shopify account with fully functional payments in 4 hours.

Beware of the scam and the fraud: I have been charged twice since August from this site. More than 30€. I have never authorized a payment and don't understand where these charges come from. They don't respond to my e-mails.

They rejected my identity verification without giving any reason. I have been emailing them asking "why are you rejecting my application and what should ı do to fix this" and they have been ignoring my emails. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE.

I am switching from WordPress to Framer and was writing a code component to give out for a few bucks on the framer marketplace. Framer suggested Lemon Squeezy, did my sign up and then a couple days later got denied for selling “prohibited items” because I also run an IT services company and somehow that is prohibited. The one thing I’m glad I didn’t do is process any orders because looking at these other reviews they probably would’ve taken my money and ran. This actually made me trust framer less, because I can’t believe they would suggest such a bad platform. They don’t do much that stripe doesn’t do on its own, and they use stripe as their backend you even need to connect your account just to use it. I’m currently working on writing a competitor for lemon Squeezy that is based on stripe, takes less of a fee and does cart and user logic and doesn’t restrict service based businesses just out of spite on how ridiculous this company is.

I would love to like but the estimed review times is really bad. I applied to the affiliate hub and i'm in review process for the last 14 days while the app still tells me that the review process is fast 1 to 2 business days. There is a lot of peoples who have the same issue as me with review process time. The service could be really great if thoses times were not so bad

They took our money, accepted multiple payments, and then suddenly froze our account under some vague “review.” No warning, no explanation, and zero communication. Although our business is approved and verified. They lure you in, let you build everything, and when it’s time to get paid, they lock you out. Absolutely unprofessional and dishonest. Avoid this platform at all costs.
