A very disappointing experience. My application was rejected without any concrete explanation. I contacted support several times to understand why and to find out if I could make any changes, but I only received generic responses, and then nothing more. I understand that they can't accept everyone, but a minimum of transparency and communication would be appreciated, especially for entrepreneurs who are simply trying to launch their product.

I am selling self-hosted software products, code you can buy and host on your server, plus support packages that come with them, something other sellers offer on LS as well; nothing crazy. It took me ~2 weeks to properly implement LS on my store, after spending time with their support, getting my business and store approved, and everything. Then, one month in, after moving a couple of sales and subscriptions, they suspended my account all of a sudden, citing "high-risk" reasons, without being able to provide a single policy that I could have breached. Oh, and their support takes about 1 week or more to respond. But now, some time later, and after I've successfully moved onto a different MOR service, I get reports from clients that they're still being charged for their subscriptions... I avoided writing a review, but that's the last straw. Save your time and sanity. Avoid this provider at all costs.

I tried to buy a $12.10 software bundle on September 28. The checkout froze, and Lemon Squeezy later asked me to authorize the uncaptured payment, which I did. They confirmed on September 30 that the payment was captured, but no order was ever created: my order history is empty and I never received a confirmation email or license key. The store owner checked their dashboard and confirmed there is no order on their side either, and asked Lemon Squeezy to look up the transaction. I have written to support several times since September 30 (most recently on October 8 and October 13), and their only reply was to redirect me to the store, which had already replied. Over two weeks later, I still have neither the product nor a refund. Taking money without generating an order is bad enough, but the lack of follow-up from support is what makes this frustrating. I hope this gets resolved soon.

Rejected twice with no real explanation I applied to sell my B2B SaaS product (an interactive product demo builder for sales and marketing teams) through Lemon Squeezy. The site was live with Terms, Privacy and Refund pages, and the product was fully built and working in test mode. My store's identity verification was rejected. I contacted support twice and asked a simple question: what specifically was the problem, and what could I change to be approved? Both replies were generic templates. They said applications are reviewed "holistically", mentioning dispute risk, customer support concerns and Stripe/PayPal requirements, and that they are "unable to support your store at this time". There was no concrete reason, nothing about what was wrong with my product or application, and no way to fix it or appeal.

Avoid worst payment portal lemon squeezy got the lemon right. Found Paddle straight through. Customer service as comments below say. Waste of time do not bother no real explanation from them.

Bought an ebook on here (a cheap one, luckily) and the link went to a dead-end. Retailer isn't responding and there is no obvious way to tell Lemon Squeezy that they have a dodgy retailer, let alone get a refund. Their help pages are just bland chatbot. Update: the retailer got back to me eventually and fixed the problem, but my issue with Lemon Squeezy having no complaints mechanism remains

My account got flagged for re-verification, but there is no self-service way to submit the required documents – the dashboard gives no option, it seems to require Lemon Squeezy to reach out first. I emailed on Sept 25 and followed up again on Sept 27. Four days later, still zero response. This isn't a small delay – my store is fully built and ready to go, and I simply cannot launch because I'm locked out of a step I'm not even allowed to complete myself. No status update, no ETA, nothing. For a platform that's supposed to be the payment backbone for your business, this level of silence is unacceptable. Product setup and checkout worked fine while I was building. But the moment something needed an actual human at Lemon Squeezy, everything stopped. If your account ever needs manual review, be prepared to be left completely in the dark.
