I wish I had read all of these first. After emailing and receiving no response for over 5 business days, I then called Le Creuset where I waited over 30 minutes for a disinterested woman to tiredly talk to me and make no changes to my order like I had asked. I'm now 7 business business days into waiting for my order and feeling like a complete fool for believing that Le Creuset had any pride in their business or their customer support. I should have bought the item straight from Crate and Barrel so I could have actually used it before quarantine is up.

Ordered an Oval Dutch Oven 12 days ago, received a 'thanks for your order' email with no order ID, no receipt, just listing product deals that were currently available. Checked my credit card statement, and I had been charged for the item. Then, after hearing nothing for 12 days, I call their customer service department, wait on the phone for 30 minutes to hear the order has shipped. I shouldn't have to spend any of my time on the phone to learn that 1) my order actually made it through, and 2) that my order has shipped. Why no email confirmation? Why no receipt? Why no communication other than about deals of the day? Very surprising from a company whose product is held in such high regard. 10/10 will never order Le Creuset again.

Le Creuset has provided me with the worst customer service I have ever received, and that is not an exaggeration. I have NEVER been more disrespected by a company in my life. Recently I ordered a bakeware set for my girlfriend's birthday, and when I placed the order I received an email that simply said "Thank you for your order" and then a list of deals they were running. I thought that was unusual because I did not get a receipt, but figured it was coming soon. Over the next week I proceeded to contact Le Creuset multiple times via email and phone... neither of which they responded to. After 10 days without a receipt and no contact, I checked my credit card and saw it had been charged!!! Assuming Le Creuset was scamming me, I filed a dispute with my credit card company and emailed Le Creuset twice letting them know the order was to be cancelled due to their shady business operations. A week later I got an email saying my order had shipped. I called Le Creuset and waited on the phone for an hour until Doug finally picked up. He told me he was happy to send me a return label so I could send back the products when I received them and get a full refund. However, once we got off the phone, Doug sent me an email saying that "all says were final" for the products I bought and they could not offer me a refund, even though I still had no receipt almost a month after my order!!! I am disgusted with Le Creuset's customer service. They ignore their customers and treat them poorly when they do respond. Save yourself some time and buy from Staub.

I decided this year to reward myself with a five-piece Le Creuset canister set for my birthday. When the set arrived four pieces were just fine but a fifth canister was completely shattered in its original box. I called customer service in March and was asked to send a photo...which I did. I heard nothing back. On April 9, I called again and learned that it was my responsibility to physically return the entire set and that they would then send me another complete set. They refused to send me the one canister to replace the broken one that I needed although they had complete sets in the warehouse. They also refused to credit me an amount for the canister that was broken. So long, Le Creuset....never again will I purchase anything from you.

When I purchased the toughened non-stick pot valued at $400, I expected it be of superior quality and as durable (if not more durable) than its competitors (e.g. Tfal, Staub and Lodge). Unfortunately, this “toughened” non-stick pot I received bought Le Creuset was far from meeting those expectations – after using it only once. I have used other (more affordable) ceramic pots for many years and have never had an issue with the interior scratching. The Le Creuset “Care and Use” webpage for Non-Stick Surfaces states that “…..silicone tools are recommended. Wooden or heat-resistant plastic tools may also be used”. These are the type of utensils which I have always used and when cooking with this type of surface. I followed your guidelines. What else was I expected to do? In addition, my experience with the “online” customer service was very disappointing. I reached out to Le Creuset Customer Service in good faith, but in return I feel I was dealt with in a manner which I can only describe as in bad faith. I was made to feel that I was lying and that the product’s defect (lack of quality control?) was my fault. This is not the impression any company should leave their customers with. I expected better from Le Creuset. It seems that I’ve been left with no alternative but to keep the defective pot. It was my first purchase with Le Creuset and will unfortunately be my last – not so much for the defective product (problems which can occur), but the way I was dealt with.

I bought a sugar bowl and creamer from a cute bed and bath store in Highlands, N.C. back in 2006. My daughter broke the button style lid handle off of the lid of the sugar bowl and I couldn't fix it. I tried and tried to find a replacement lid to no avail. On a whim I contacted Le Creuset by email to see if maybe they had one. I got an immediate response that asked me to email pictures to them of the broken lid and sugar bowl. I did as asked, making it clear that I knew it was my fault and that I was looking to purchase the lid. Yesterday I found a box at my door from Le Creuset. They sent me A BRAND NEW SET!!!! I cried. That is what I call going above and beyond!!!!! Le Creuset, you have made a forever loyal customer out of me!!! People...I do not work for nor was I asked to write this review. Also...customer service is a two way road... Be nice to the people who you email/talk to and most likely they will be nice in return!!!

Excellent service honoured their lifetime guarantee replacing my 30+ year old 24cm pan. From start to finish the whole process was faultless, quick response to emails, honouring time frames and a very fair assessment of the problem. Within 4weeks I was cooking with a new pan. I can’t rate Le Creuset high enough

Never order directly from them. My boyfriend got me the wrong color for Christmas. We called their 800 number over and over with no answer. We also filled out their contact us form with no answer. I finally got through and was told there was nothing they could do. Finally the agent said they would give us a refund and to email her directly. My boyfriend emailed her, we never got a response. Really poor customer service for such an expensive brand.
