Deceptive Practices & Fraudulent Retention of Funds — Shifting Lies from Support
I am absolutely appalled by the deceptive and fraudulent behavior of Le Creuset of America. They are currently holding both my returned merchandise AND my money ($639.86), while providing daily lies and shifting administrative excuses. My original order (#10998056) was misdelivered by UPS to a completely wrong address/door. Le Creuset explicitly admitted this delivery error in writing and authorized a replacement. However, due to severe delays, I requested to cancel the replacement and receive a full refund. They agreed, intercepted the package via UPS, and it was officially delivered back to their warehouse in Early Branch, SC, on October 8, 2026. Since October 8, their support agents (Alexis Ott and Megan Morris) have repeatedly lied to me. First, they confirmed in writing under RMA-152956 that the return was processed and the refund was fully initiated. When the money never arrived, a supervisor (Jessica Cope) stepped in on October 20 and admitted that the previous agents had misinformed me. She then tried to blame a "pending bank dispute" and invented a fake 45-day Mastercard hold policy to stall further. My bank (Capital One) has officially confirmed that Le Creuset's claims are an absolute lie and that the dispute has been cleared from their side. Le Creuset is knowingly engaging in unjust enrichment, withholding consumer funds for items they have already taken back into their physical inventory. I have officially filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB.org), the FTC, and the Attorney General’s Office. My attorney has been granted full access to this entire paper trail to initiate a formal lawsuit for consumer fraud. Do not trust this company. Their premium price tag comes with bottom-tier logistics and highly deceptive customer service.
