Manufacturing, yes, service, nope.
Bought 4 stoneware pieces from the online store. 2 delivered smashed to pieces. That's fine, stuff happens in transit. I had to submit two separate photo request emails to prove the pieces were damaged in transit. Annoying that these were 2 separate cases and email threads, but fine, there are scammers out there. A full month later my refund hasn't been processed. I know these are tough times with the current health situation. But come on. You were able to ship out the product, process the refund for shipping me broken glass. Too bad, because they make great stuff. I think the problem is they know it...

Just received my set of pans
Just received my set of pans, delivered a lot earlier than expected; surprising since we live in Scotland Cooked on all off them. LOVE THEM. Thank you Le Creuset

NO customer service!
After ordering two Dutch ovens online during their special COVID19 promotion sale, I received a confirmation email and a few days later a shipping confirmation for both Dutch ovens. When the package arrived there was ONE Dutch oven in the box. The second one mysteriously was listed as enclosed in the packing slip, but was absolutely nowhere to be found.
The following business day I reached out to their customer service. 54 mins and waiting a lovely lady answered my call and apologized for the long wait. When she checked my order she stated that there clearly was a missing Dutch oven that had to be resubmitted as an order to the warehouse and that it might take up to 7 business days for the rerouted order to be processed and a new email with shipping information would be generated. Meanwhile, 3 weeks have elapsed, in short, 15 business days... No word, no change to my order status on their website where I had registered, no nada. I'm now waiting on hold for my 3rd call about this item - 35 mins in and holding and holding and holding. Everyone has been polite. Everyone is inefficient and ineffectual. No oven, no refund, no nada.
UPDATE: It took 4 phone calls, the last one with a supposed supervisor, to get the ball rolling again. The number of excuses was astounding. "Waiting for the tracking number", last 3 days. I finally persuaded the supervisor to send it overnight so it would arrive before Mother's Day. But even that got messed up and it arrived the day after. All in all it took over a month to get this order. And a propos, I never received a tracking number and the site's dashboard still shows the same incorrect information: that both Dutch ovens were received together...
(Disclaimer: I love Le Creuset products, my kitchen is full of them. My review is not on the product, rather the experience purchasing from Le Creuset's US online store)
Can't believe how dysfunctional Le Creuset USA is. I'm guessing most of their issues stem from archaic technology (glad they use the time proven process on their products, but they absolutely need to modernize).
Here are some of the issues I faced (hopefully someone there can fix some of these issues!):
-Placed an order, confirmation went to spam folder (need to get an email delivery vendor to ensure this doesn't happen). Every other online vendor I order from has figured this out, I've never had an order confirmation go to spam before.
-Waited a few days, couldn't find any order confirmation (because I didn't check the spam folder), spent 30 mins on hold to get through and ask if the order went through (clearly they aren't staffed for support, nor do they have a twitter account for expedited communication). They checked the system and said they couldn't find my order.
-I placed a new order for the same items, and on the confirmation screen saw a big warning about checking your spam folder, which led me to find the original order confirmation. I immediately sent a support email asking to cancel my second (redundant) order.
-No way to check the first order status on the website because I checked out as a guest.
-After a few weeks my card got charged for the first order, no shipping confirmation email.
-After another week my first order shows up, at least the product is awesome.
-I start getting phone calls from Le Creuset's support team about a failed payment, I try to call back and give up after holding for 15 mins.
-Finally they email me back and set up a time to call me. The support woman states that they shipped my second order (which I'd emailed to cancel), but they failed to correctly charge me for it. After waiting 5 mins for her to try figuring out what happened on their end she finally agrees to intercept the product which was shipped a few days ago and to cancel my order.
Every interaction I've had with them has been painful... They don't follow modern e-commerce practices (email delivery, shipping confirmations, modern support channels), and I'll be happy to buy their products from other vendors in the future.

A1 Customer service
We had some issues with the enamel of a casserole pot we bought 15 years ago. I was overwhelmed after contacting the customer services, that after some formalities they would replace our dish.
I think their customer service has to be commended. I would have bought another myself as we were very satisfied with the functionality of our dish, but a new replacement was a really nice gesture.

Never buy from them
Never buy from them! The company is a scam. They charge you for a full order and never refund for products not shipped. After 7 or more phone calls and numerous emails I got different answers each time. It’s been a month and still no shipment or refund. Will file a fraud dispute with the credit card company!

Le Creuset is 50% great
What a strange company. Most of us can agree that their products are generally fantastic but for a good company to be great, their customer service/operations should be even better. I feel like I've ordered from an unorganized start-up. Placed 3 orders over the past 3 weeks and not one of them was a smooth process:
Order #1: Finally arrived approx 2 weeks after ordering but couldn't track it. No tracking/"order shipped" email sent.
Order #2: 17 days after ordering, no update on order status.
Order #3: 10 days after ordering, no update on order status.
My suggestion is to order Le Creuset items from other vendors or an outlet store. Their online operations are a complete mess.
