Waste of time!! Their customer service gets a failing grade!!
I would give 0 stars if possible!
Agree with other customers-after finally getting through to customer service they asked me to send pics of inside and out of the damaged pot. I sent the pics back in JULY and never heard back again!!
Does this mean I have to wait another 2 hours to speak to customer service to get a response??? Word of caution-the warranty is a big, fat lie!
This will be the last $400 creuset pot for me!

I will rate zero if I could

Lousy customer service. Lifetime warranty is a joke and don’t even hope for a one month warranty. Because it’s never the manufacturer fault. it’s you always ‘overheating’ or burning the pot that damage it. It’s supposed to withstand very high heat for the Dutch oven to bake bread in it. So how can it my fault for overheating! It supposed to be functional as they claim to be! Lifetime warranty is just a gimmick for consumers to believe they have good customer service in Canada.

Ditto.
I am not going to repeat what has been said by others. I am just going to cast my 1 star vote in this arena.

Horrible customer service!!!
Ordered item 9/22/2020 today is 10/07/2020 and I still haven’t received it. Called customer service multiple times. Waiting hours to connect with someone only to be hung up on over and over again. Frustrating! Never shop with Le Creuset!! Horrible.

Returned item within return time frame
Returned item within return time frame, never got my refund. Called over 5 times and they keep telling me I will be refunded but nothing happened. Wasted $160 for no reason. Will never shop here again.

Product is amazing while it lasts
I contacted Le Creuset customer support to start the process of warranty assessment on a french oven that was purchased in 2009. The enamel coating has worn away to the point that they can no longer be used - it really puts the "stick" into "non stick".
I was asked to fill in a questionnaire about how I use and clean the product, and was also asked to send in some photos.
Their warranty process is centered around how you use and take care of the product; my regular cleaning method is to use hot soapy water and a nylon sponge. It doesn't go in the dishwasher - I never use metal utensils, always use a low to medium heat, and always place oil in these casserole ovens before heating them up. I use the Le Creuset cleaner around once every 6 months, and I take very good care of my enameled cookware (I have 3 of these casserole style pots, and they cost me over $1200 all up).
The warranty process leaves a lot to be desired; it took quite a number of emails to resolve, and was only resolved via an escalation to a manager. Despite what I told them in their warranty questionnaire, they kept telling me I would had either overheated the pot or used bleach, gumption, metal utensils etc. which simply wasn't true. Their company line is:
"The limited lifetime warranty for your enamelled cast iron cookware covers faulty workmanship and materials when the product is used in a normal domestic environment, and in accordance with the care and use instructions provided. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, commercial use, neglect, corrosive or abrasive cleaners, over-heating or the normal wear and tear of the product."
Given the warranty does not cover "normal wear and tear", and that the enamel will wear down over time, you can expect a useful lifetime of around 10 years from these pots if you use them on a regular basis.

We received a 20cm LC Casserole 7 years ago as a gift. We used it for slow-cooked curry once every 2~3 months. Recently, the enamel surface at the centre started to peel off.
The CS first replied that the damage was due to "overheating", which is not covered by the life time warranty. I explained that the pot was only used for slow-cooked curries (low-medium heat over an electric stove), how hot can it be for a pot?
The second email then stated that "Overheating can still occur when using low to medium heats if the pan does not contain enough food as the Cast Iron will continually build on heat, this can be difficult for some consumers to understand".
I have 4 in my family, I am not sure if 3/4 full considered as "enough food" or not. It is interesting to found out that these Casseroles have a minimum food quantity requirement per cooking.
The conclusion was that it's never the product's fault.

The customer service is terrible
The customer service is terrible. I am actively trying to return one pot from a large order over $1300.
I call12 hours after placing my online order to correct the order and they would not accept any order correction. Now the product with wrong order quantity is delivered and they will not give me a Return Merchandise Authorization - so that I can pay for the return shipping myself.
They dont answer the phone, you get to be the #1 person on the line and they hang up; they send you and email to tell you it will be 3 days for them to answer your question
