Law pay is easy to use with Smokeball, the problem is the reporting and batching of payments is almost impossible to reconcile every day. It seems to be missing some information though. We don't receive reports or notifications regarding certain things our old processor notified us about (for instance, which of the payments from the day it randomly selects to deposit the next day or the day or two after). When we asked about these things we were told they couldn't do it. Most of it is AI driven and sometimes difficult to speak with a person. It is difficult to get questions answered.

My only criticisms of LawPay are the lack of an annual or biannual account review process to ensure all services are being utilized, especially for customers who have multiple accounts, and having click through an email & log into the platform to access the billing statements. Would be much more helpful if the statements were attached to the notification emails.

I would really appreciate it if you could update your system to address the following issue: Whenever I narrow down a transaction by date and click on an invoice, it redirects me to a new page. However, when I click 'back,' it resets the filter to show all transactions instead of keeping it narrowed down to the selected date. The same problem occurs when navigating through pages. For example, if I am on page 2 while viewing all transactions, click on an invoice, and then click 'back,' I am returned to the first page rather than my previous spot. This behavior is inefficient and makes my job more difficult. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The mobile app is extremely limited. I cannot send a new bill from the mobile app and this is a huge negative. I also find the LawPay website to be unintutive. I have difficulty getting the website to auto bill when and on the dates I need it to bill. Even things like viewing recent payment requests and sending a reminder is hard to find. Lastly, I have tried the Pay Later option many times and have never had a customer accepted. It is a fantastic concept but has proven to be a waste of my time and my customer's time. That said, I am pretty loyal to LawyPay. I'm not sure why but I feel more affinity towards LawPay than the many other payment processing options that I use. Lastly

It's not user friendly or easy to navigate

LawPay does not obtain authorizations prior to processing cards through links sent to clients which resulted in a dispute and reversal of a clients entire retainer, plus fees charged by LawPay to me.

Hi Lauren, I would like to set up a time to speak with you to better understand your concern. Are you referring to a client chargingback a transaction, was this an eCheck transaction, or are you saying we authorized a transaction and then pulled the funds back. I have never seen our system do this which is why I am looking to speak with you. I can be reached at 512 366-6975. Thanks, Mike Mitchell VP of Operations

Ok. Would like something better when sending an email to clients.
