Quick processing and excellent customer service, would be 5 stars if the program was able to take the chip.

Love this program. I wish I could save client templates so I wouldn't have to enter them each time they change a credit card number. Other than that I love it.

Overall we are very pleased with LawPay. The kinks for us include 1) LawPay still has not figured out why each of our users has to enter his or her password twice to log in, and 2) Some of our users do not log in. Instead, they click on shortcuts that are on their desktops to gain access to recording payments for our Operating checking account and for our IOLTA checking account. Per LawPay, because they are bypassing login, the program cannot track which employee processed the client's payment.

Love everything about the service but feel the transaction fees are too high.

The portal is easy to use and clients are making their own payments which is great. It didn't cost us anything in web designer fees to add to our website and their reporting could not be easier. My only complaint would be that I have to wait for a paper statement to be snail mailed to me, so it's a week before I can match up the fees on the statement to the withdrawal from my bank for the prior months fees.

LawPay came to the rescue when our old credit card terminal died and we needed to get something new in place FAST. Works well overall, love the reports, rates are good. Some negatives: my card-swiper doesn't always work, the monthly statement is hard to read, and having to process payments at a computer rather than at our back counter next to our copier is not as convenient for us.

Very user friendly and very helpful if you call for questions. The only criticisms I have are (1) the monthly statements a printed in a ridiculously small font and are difficult to decipher; and (2) like almost all credit processing companies, it is difficult to know what rate you are being charged for any given card. One thing I would like Law Pay to explore is not taking fees out of funds that are put in Trust Accounts until they are transferred to a General Account. While the fees physically come out of the General Account, we don't receive the benefit of them while they are in Trust, and if we refund Trust money, we have paid the processing fees on that money but never receive the benefit of it.

LawPay is powerful, reliable, and easy to use, once it is set up properly. My clients enjoy the ease of making payments, which makes my collections faster and easier. The monthly fees are higher than I think they should be, and that is my only complaint.
