I was told by customer service that all merchant fees would be refunded when a charge was reversed. However, when I reversed the charge they refused to refund all the merchant fees despite them admitting it was their fault! Had I known this I wouldn’t have reversed the charge!! It cost me $950 which outweighs any benefits this company could ever provide!

Thank you so much for providing this feedback. We've heard this from other customers as well and are in the process of creating electronic versions of our statements. Once they go live, we would love to get your feedback on the new version!

I paid my lawyer through Lawpay, and the amount ($5000) was deducted from my account in less than 24 hours. But then I terminated my relationship with her, and she agreed to refund me $4500. This refund has still not arrived, and this is the third business day. She told me to contact Lawpay, and the customer service representative was very short with me and said she could not help me, and that I should contact my lawyer. But the lawyer told me to contact Lawpay. This is not working well on the client end. The customer servie representative (Valarie) hung up on me. Update: Jeff Stringer did help me eventually at Lawpay.

Hello Ms. Stoney, We received your comment regarding your recent interaction with our company. Your law firm is a client of LawPay, and we are responsible for managing payments for the firm. However, for security and privacy reasons, we are not able to facilitate refunds or discuss specific client transactions with anyone other than authorized personnel from the law firm. Payment inquiries should be done directly through your law firm. It is highly unusual for a law firm’s client to contact LawPay directly which created a bit of confusion with our team. As a result, we have discussed with our support team and have used this particular call as a training opportunity to better manage any future calls of this nature. We work diligently to maintain a very high level of service for our clients, and regret you had a frustrating experience contacting our office. Thank you for the feedback, and we sincerely hope your refund issue is fully resolved. The LawPay Team
