I bought a 150$ pair of shoes. On my invoice it said taxes and shipping paid (paid extra 20$ for this) and i ended up having to pay 45 pounds of import duties. What a scam

They did not send my order I placed my order 22 November 2023 and they are still preparing my order I have emailed them so many times and no answer.

This company attempts to discount their shoes by a negligible amount to prevent returns or exchanges of their product. Additionally, the way they do this is sneaky to the consumer. I DO NOT recommend purchasing anything from them. Their customer service is HARD to get a hold of, unfriendly, and unhelpful. I purchased sandals from KURU and they were a size too large. I went to exchange them for a smaller size and was told by Chad in their customer service staff that because I purchased these shoes at a sale price that I could not exchange them for a smaller size. No where in my confirmation or my order was it written or was I told I could not exchange the shoes, or I would have never purchased them. In fact, at the top of the email is text that says "free 45-day exchange and returns". Neither the confirmation or the order online shows that the "Kala" shoes were purchased at a discounted price. It's important to also note that this shoe style is not discontinued or final sale shoe--the company is still actively selling this shoe! It seems like this company regularly engages in predatory business practices. Additionally, no where on my invoice or confirmation does it say ANYTHING about the shoes being final sale and unreturnable so this excuse feels made up. On top of this issue, the second pair of shoes, the "draft" slippers I ordered at the same time have yet to ship. I attempted to e-mail and call customer service for two weeks and didn't get a response. After finally getting a hold of someone today, they said they "may" have a pair in a warehouse in Kentucky but they are not sure. All around an unhelpful company if a) you don't get exactly what you want and might need an exchange b) you might not even get your product!

Maybe unfair to leave this on the Kuru website, but kurufootwearuk.com is a scam site. Do not buy from there.

I purchased a pair of shoes for a Christmas present a week prior to Christmas. I live just 35 miles away from there store. I paid $30.00 dollars for express shipping its been 6 days almost and I haven't received any shoes. I called there number and I got an error message. currently researching to see if this is a scam. If it is a real company, there marketing is terrible. Shoe does not show up anywhere, but this site. poor customer service if this is even a real company. buyer beware as of now. many people have good ideas and products, but because of poor business models, marketing, and shady service they never reach there potential. If I stand corrected I will remove this rating and apologize. But I am so sick and tired of poor service, some how companies act as if we owe them and they deserve our money. They get our money and then you have to follow up to make sure your order is delivered. Service is so bad these days and employees so hit and miss, that its almost fraudulent in some ways. I just also saw that they have 51% one star ratings. Company is probably on its outs. If not out right fraudulent. Not sure how they can overcome such a bad image. Specially when they are not willing to spend money on marketing.

Absolutely awful experience. First off, they employ deceptive tricks to get you to purchase their shipping insurance product. It was preselected to opt out rather than opt in and was in no way apparent that the selection was preselected. The cost was only $6 but it feels very unethical the way they handle it. If they feel like it is such a benefit to customers than build it into your price or make it opt in only and you’ll see how few customers truly value this option. Second, it wasn’t until several days after my order was placed did they tell me my selection was unavailable leaving me to scramble for an alternative. Very unsatisfied with this company.

Kurucanada.com is a fraudulent website. Do not purchase from them. I made the mistake of purchasing a pair of shoes and immediately was suspicious so I reached out to Kuru in the USA and they told me they are not affiliated with this Canadian website and to contact my credit card company asap!!!

I made an order in November, the shipment seems to have been lost, I have emailed multiple times, I called and I text(as they suggested on their website) No response, No shoes, No refund. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE
