The shoes are great, co practices not so much
The shoes are great; maybe they could last longer. My main issue is with availability. I imagine Kuru is not so different from most e-commerce as they keep as low inventory as possible. But for the customer it is very annoying when you find a product you like and then it is never in stock ever again. Secondly , and Im sure I'm in the minority view here, I hate Amazon and avoid them as much as possible. I feel you aren't clear about using them as fulfillment partners. I was dismayed to see the blue van pull up in my driveway. I will be seeking alternatives.
Response from KURU FootwearOct 6, 2026
We appreciate the thoughtful feedback, and we’re sorry that availability and delivery options have made your KURU experience more difficult. We’re a small company, and we restock seasonally based on the resources we have available. That isn’t a strategy, it's just us doing our best to keep stock while also trying to predict growth, which can be a difficult science. We know how frustrating it is to find a shoe you love and then not be able to get it when you need it. The best way to stay informed is to sign up for our newsletter, and you can also visit the shoe you’re interested in and click “Notify Me” to receive a restock notification. We’re also sorry that Amazon delivery doesn’t work well for you. At this time, Amazon is the best delivery option for our company, but in some cases we can arrange another carrier. If you place your order by phone, let your GURU know you’d prefer a different delivery option and they can see what may be available. We’ll also be happy to pass your feedback along. As for your concern about longevity, we weren’t able to look into your specific purchase because there was no name or contact information included with the review. If you experienced a defect, our warranty covers defects for six months, and you can submit a warranty request through our website so our team can review it and potentially replace the shoes.
