Recently ordered some bike locks which didn't have the mounting kit with them. Emailed Kryptonite who responded within hours saying they were working away from the warehouse but would send them out as soon as they returned. True to their word, once businesses started returning to work I had a shipment notification then days later they arrived. Excellent customer service!

Absolutely world class customer service. I had a Kryptonite New York lock, my key snapped off inside the mechanism. I sent 3 pictures. New lock en route. The lock was 5 years old. No issues, no fuss. Just world class professionalism and proper customer service. They actually sent me 2 locks as a gesture. Wow! Well done.

Do not trust the Warrantee scheme. I have had two bikes stolen with krptonite locks that have been cut through. The last one was months ago and still no response about a replacement. I feel very angry that they promise to replace the lock and then do nothing. I think it is against the law actually.

Horrible. The bike guarantee doesn't pay out if your bike is stolen with the lock (which is 99% the case).. Do not purchase, beware!

Brought a £55 lock which is part of their key safe program where they say that they will send you 2 replacement keys if you lose yours,have now been trying for a month to get a reply from them about sending new keys a total of 3 separate request and all followed up by myself but not viewed by them.Totally useless and shambolic customer services once they have your money you don't matter my advice is don't bother.

Not safe for London. These like can be cut like butter. Left the bike outside for an hour, came back and bike was gone. What’s worse is their horrible customer service. Takes days to respond back and they do everything they can not to refund you after signing up to their £1000 guarantee scheme

Thanks to the NEW YORK chain my bike was stolen. The padlock seized during regular use, forcing me to use a cheaper chain temporarily. Then my r1 got stolen. Whats the point of having a expensive lock when the lock itself is garbage. BAD BAD BAD

Bought one of their Gold Standard locks which was broken into and my bike stolen. Annoying seeing as I spent a good amount of money on the lock, but no lock is unbreakable. The issues mainly come with the customer service. I had to chase numerous times to even get a response and the responses were so slow and basic that I then went over the 30 day limit to 'file a claim' even though I reported it to them via email within 24 hours. Their responses are so painfully slow that you just cannot rely on them to come back to you at all. as a result, I cannot file for a claim for the stolen bike. Really poor service throughout. They are now offering me a replacement lock - not much point now I don't have a bike but better than nothing.
