I had a kohls gift card given to me as a Christmas Present. I bought $79.00 worth of merchandise today. Because I was paying with a gift card they would not give me Kohls cash. Why would I want to put the charge on my credit card when I had a gift card with $177.00 on it. I will now tell my family never to give me a Kohls gift card ever again. I am a plus size person so I am going to ask for Lane Bryant gift cards. Why should you be penalized because you received a gift card as a present. Totally unfair. That is okay. I can now see why Kohls is struggling. Maybe if they had better policies people would be more inclined to shop there.

Kohls/Capitol one Big Issue
My Kohls card of years was transferred to Capitol One. No problem except when turned over they removed your total Kohls card history from the credit bureaus! So credit scores dropped once they removed great payment and length of credit history and NEW account added!! I am furious!

Horrible process to get my own money back
Ordered 2 packages and they couldn’t deliver the second half of my order because the label was too damaged. I’ve waited 3 months for my money back! What is this? It should be as soon as it gets back to them but you have to wait another month. Good customer service but horrible return process and shipping quality. One package did come though. Just please improve speed of MY money getting back in my pocket because 3 months is crazy.

My Kohls Experience
Customer Service Department
Kohl's Corporate Headquarters

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your Mansfield, New Jersey, store on December 7, 2024. The series of events that transpired have caused significant inconvenience and frustration, leading me to question the integrity of Kohl's customer service and operational practices.
Incident Details:
Unauthorized Credit Card Application: Upon purchasing two sweaters, the cashier inquired if I wished to use my Kohl's card. I declined, opting to pay with my Capital One card. Subsequently, I was prompted to enter my Social Security number, which I assumed was a standard procedure to complete the purchase. To my astonishment, I later received a Kohl's credit card bill for this transaction—a card I neither applied for nor authorized.
Inadequate Resolution Attempts: In response, I contacted customer service, where I was assured the issue would be resolved. Contrary to this assurance, I received a second bill, now with added late fees and interest. Seeking resolution, I visited the store and spoke with an assistant manager who appeared to address the matter. However, I soon received an unsolicited Kohl's credit card from Capital One, with the disputed balance and additional charges transferred to this new account.
Unhelpful Management Response: Upon contacting the store manager, I was met with skepticism. She insinuated that providing my Social Security number implied consent for a Kohl's credit card application, a claim I firmly dispute. My request for the corporate contact number led me to Capital One, not Kohl's corporate offices.
Frustrating Corporate Communication: Attempts to reach Kohl's corporate headquarters were met with automated messages unrelated to my concerns. After multiple efforts, I managed to speak with a representative who promised to escalate my complaint. Despite these assurances, no satisfactory resolution has been provided.
Expectations:
Immediate Cancellation: I demand the immediate cancellation of the unauthorized Kohl's credit card and the removal of all associated charges, including late fees and interest.
Clear Communication: A detailed explanation of how my personal information was used to open an account without explicit consent.
Policy Review: A thorough review of in-store practices to prevent future unauthorized credit applications.
This experience has severely undermined my trust in Kohl's. I expect prompt and decisive action to rectify this situation. Failure to address these concerns will compel me to escalate this matter to consumer protection agencies and consider legal avenues.
I look forward to your immediate response.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]

Stylish Finds and Reliable Quality, Slight Shipping Delay
I've shopped here three times now, and each time, the quality of their clothing and shoes has impressed me. My most recent order—a pair of ankle boots and a midi dress—exceeded my expectations in both material and fit.
The website is user-friendly, with detailed size guides that have helped me nail the right fit every time. Their sizing runs true, which is a rare but welcome change from other online retailers. The shoes are especially comfortable—I wore the ankle boots straight out of the box for a full day without a single blister or discomfort.

Deceptive Advertising. Shame on you Kohl's!!!
I went to Kohl's to buy some jeans for my grandson because they sent me a 30% off coupon. And I used to love shopping there! At checkout, they refused to accept the coupon because they were Levi's jeans. After I got home, I looked at the ad again. At the very end of the ad, there was a reference to their website for more details. The 30% off only applied to their store brand. Should I have to dig that deep to find out that the coupon only applied to store brands? I think not. It is my view that the coupon was extremely deceptive. I called the store, and they claimed that there was a sign in the store that explained the situation, but I did not see any such sign. Shame on you Kohl's! I no longer plan on shopping at Kohl's. You should be much more transparent and honest with your marketing.
