When you place an order online it takes on average 10 + days to receive. Typically my order has been wrong and it’s difficult to prove. They con you with the kohls cash then deduct it from anything you need to exchange. The kohls cash is a ripoff. They deliberately take things off sale when you are able to use kohls cash or they won’t let you use other coupons if you have it.

Khols online ordering system is unorganized and glitchy. After changing pick up location, prior to placing an order AND again after adding it to the cart, it continues to default to an address I am no where near. I place the order and it automatically defaults to a different location. You cannot even adjust the store location as an option and you have only 30 minutes to cancel. You cannot cancel or change the order by calling customer service, either. You can ONLY make these adjustments by wasting their employees time and allowing them to prepare the order so no one ever shows up to pick up the order once it is in 'pick up' status. Only when the order is ready can you make a change or cancel. At minimum, fix your app/website so it does not continue to default to an address you cannot get to or is not the one chosen by the customer. It is inconvenient and a waste of time for your employees and myself, the customer.

Well, I guess I will never order from Kohl's online again. Times are tight and I was lured in by some honestly great sale prices, but that's about the only good thing I can say. I have ordered from Kohl's online in the past for a couple of Christmas gifts which worked out. Since they are a major retailer, I thought they were pretty reliable. As a dual resident of different states, I carefully ensured my shipping address was set to AR. I checked out and thought all was well but remembered some other items that were needed. The items were available and I made a second order for these items, also careful to check the shipping info. I was really excited because I got some items for an upcoming trip and paid extra for one-day shipping and the items were all set to arrive in time! Then the crap hit the fan. I got the tracking info on the first order. They had my billing address listed as the shipping address! I checked and the second order was the same. I immediately contacted customer service through chat with both order numbers. I requested for them to be sent to the correct address or my local Kohl's store since they would now arrive when I was supposed to be gone on my trip and I was worried about package theft. The associate said since the items were in fulfillment all he could do was cancel any unshipped items and that I would have to get the other items from North Dakota and ship them back as returns. He said all items had to be returned and once all were received and the items passed an inspection to insure they were in re-saleable condition, a refund would be issued. He said the process could take up to 30 days. He then said if I wanted to avoid problems like this in the future that I needed to make sure I entered the correct information in my order. I was not happy about this as Kohl's placed a hold for the full order amount and charged each portion as it shipped, while still holding the full amount as a pending charge, which amounted to about $800 frozen in my bank acct. As soon as I read this I started typing a quick response that this would not work. I had double-checked the address. With gas prices, driving to my ND address to get the clothes would cost a fortune and I didn't want them returned or I wouldn't have spent all the time shopping for them. Plus, waiting up to 30 days to get my own money back also wasn't helpful and there was no way to get the items before my trip. Without waiting for a response, the service agent exited the chat. I was offered a survey and I was brutally honest about how unhelpful the experience was. At this point, I started questioning my own memory. Had I actually made a mistake on shipping even though I double-checked? I have been really stressed lately. I started doing some looking around. They have a section in the Kohl's account that saves shipping addresses and if you look through their customer service database (which on reflection it's probably a bad sign that they need one) it says if you don't select a shipping address, packages will be sent by default to your primary shipping address on file. I thought, well maybe I got something wrong. I looked up the shipping addresses saved in my account. There was only one address listed in the shipping address section and it was the correct address that I wanted my items sent to in AR. So, according to their info, this should have been the only possible shipping location. To top it all off a couple of days later I got a shipping notice for the second order. He hadn't canceled it at all and the address was still ND! The package had not been picked up by the carrier yet, so I called the carrier thinking maybe they could help. They said they could only update the shipping address if Kohl's contacted them to change it since they had not picked it up yet. So I went back to Kohl's and told them the problem again. This time the person was not rude, but said according to Kohl's policy all they could do was cancel my order, so that's what I had them do. All in all, a waste of time and money. At least in my part of ND porch pirates are rare. I probably won't get my summer wardrobe until fall rolls around... if I keep the clothes. I may have to see if I can get a friend to pick up the clothes and do a return for me. All the while I am out my money and have no summer clothes for my family. No matter what, I will be out the cost of expedited shipping. I am not a fan of gambling or of being gaslit, so IF I shop with this retailer at all in the future, it will only be in person. The online system errors combined with horrible policies and lack of customer care make ordering online from Kohl's feel as risky as buying a "Rolex" off a New York street corner. At least in that scenario, you'll know you have a watch on when you walk off instead of having to try to collect it from 1200 miles away. Beware

I am giving Kohls a very negative review, as my order sat in limbo for 4 weeks. It took several calls to even get someone to answer, only to find out they were out of stock. They charged my Kohls card and never sent the shoes and then it took them 7 days to refund my account. They sent me a request to review my transaction and I put down exactly what is written above and they refused to post the review and sent me an email saying my review had been moderated... I guess your not allowed to tell the truth if it is negative against the company.....

Went and found curtains that showed a different price online. I was first told they could price match to their online so I went to a cashier and she told me she couldn’t do it. She sent me to customer service. They didn’t do it either and had an attitude. I do not understand why they were so rude and not helping. The product matched the sku number, size, color and description identically. It was my first time shopping there and it was ridiculous.

This is the second time Kohls messed up my order, and offering $10.00 in kohls cash is not good enough. I recently ordered a bunch of clothes for vacation, I put in my new address, and they still shipped it to a address a hour and a half away. They offered to cancel my order have me pay for a new order, than get refunded once the order comes back. This is ridiculous. My order has not shipped why cant they change the shipping address they messed up? Last year I was charged 6 times for the same order. I am finally done shopping at kohls..

Went to Kohl’s in La Verne to do a return. There were 8 checkout registers with 10 people waiting in line and one register open. The manager was there doing her thing but completely unconcerned about the customers. Quite a few including me left. It was appalling. Such customers service. I wonder we should shop at Kohl’s anymore
