I feel like I’ve been scammed out of $50. I signed up to have access to a primary care to discuss weight management. I filled out all the information I paid the $50 I said I was ready for the appointment and it said please stay by your phone. Well good thing I didn’t stay by my phone because it’s now been four days and I never got called. I literally just canceled. I am really disgusted with the fact that I feel like I have been taken advantage of and that I’m a victim of an Internet scam.

Quick and amazing I had my appointment via messaging. I hope there was an option for actual video if I need to ask questions

I recently had an experience with K Health, an online medical service, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts and concerns. While the platform may be helpful for general medical inquiries, it falls short when it comes to individuals with autoimmune conditions. One of the major drawbacks of K Health's service is the lack of clear communication regarding their limitations for individuals with autoimmune disorders. It is important to note that even if your medical issue is unrelated to your autoimmune condition, K Health will not provide treatment or assistance. This restriction is not well conveyed to users, and it can be frustrating and disappointing to learn this after investing time and money into the service. For someone with an autoimmune condition, managing their health can be a complex and ongoing process. It is vital to have access to reliable and comprehensive medical services that address all health concerns, regardless of their relationship to the autoimmune condition. Unfortunately, K Health fails to meet this requirement. While K Health may be effective for certain general medical inquiries, I caution individuals with autoimmune conditions against paying for their services.

Your Clinicians and Dr’s are very polite and professional. Eager to help whenever there is a snag , like I recently had. I have recommended K Health to many friends and I will continue to do so.

I was hoping to have a call or video chat to address my health more in depth.

The doctor visit itself via the K Health app was great. The user interface is not great (really). For instance, it's very difficult to use K as the virtual primary care interface. Since every experience is wrapped up in a 'chat', basic information around virtual primary care is buried within 'chat links' that the team sends you over a chat. Finding links to labs, notes and current Rx sometimes shows up in the 'Primary Care' chat but usually disappear. It's also not intuitive how to really schedule new visits. I normally scroll back through an old chat to find a link that was posted within that chat, to navigate to the 'schedule' screen. Essentially the set of tasks that are known should be something navigable through simple screen that lets me bounce to the various areas within the application. Clearly these nav points exist but it's totally unknown how to get to them without suffering through an async chat. Also the single-sign on or bounce over from the insurance company is super clunky and prone to errors. It is essentially a 'sign in via email' that ties your insurance provider to k health. The path right now is.. 1. go to insurance app --> 2. click a link --> 3. opens the browser --> 4. type in an email --> 5. download/install k health app --> 6. click link in email on same device that has the k health app --> 7. opens the k health app --> 8. shows your imported profile. Having just gone through this flow, the K Health parts of the flow (#4, #6-8) failed in each spot differently. #4 Fails when the email address/phone number is attached to an existing k account. #6 failed because the email sent a link that was the wrong domain (so the installed app doesn't open). This whole email sso flow should be scrapped for a straightforward oauth flow. 'K Health would like to access your profile at XYZ Insurance' kind of deal. The doctor visits are good, the UX is awful (UI is fine). Gotta pull this app out of the 'everything is a chat' mode.
