A year in and the experience has been life changing! The team at Joyous is very responsive and helpful. The therapy has been the most effective treatment after years of conventional therapies and medications failed.

Hands down simultaneously the best medication model and the worst customer service model ever imagined. As an 18 month patient, I can speak to both with confidence. First, the customer service nightmare(s)- The "care" team offers little to no empathy, understanding, or solutions depending on who you have the pleasure of speaking to that particular day. There is no consistency in answers or support- depending on the day/person they will tell you two completely different stories that don't even begin to match up or make sense together. It is legitimately the closest thing I can imagine to living in an endless twilight zone episode...it never ends, there is never a suitable or sensible resolution, and it is absolutely maddening. I've recently decided just the hassle of having to explain myself 18 thousand times to numerous reps while slowly descending into madness and effectively getting nowhere has finally outweighed the benefits of the medication to me. It has been extremely detrimental to my mental health and I can't justify that anymore. Now-The medication. The low dose troches are fantastic. I went from taking 4 different daily psychiatric meds (one of which I was on a significantly higher dose than the daily max for a LONG time) to zero (minus the troches). So, I effectively was able to replace all 4 with just the ketamine, and I feel better on this than I ever have in my life. I'm not really sure where i'll go from here or how i'll manage without it, I just can't handle the poor customer service model anymore. It's too much. But, yeah- give the troches a try. As long as you never encounter a problem, hiccup, or late payment you'll be fine and probably feel like a million bucks. If you *do* need assistance at any point in your journey- good luck. Edit- 12/29/2024 No update as of yet regarding this particular review, or the promise made to look into it further. I did, however, receive another cold and unhelpful response from the "care" team via email today. So it continues, unfortunately.

My experience with Joyous has been excellent. The company is reliable and comprehensive. Their holistic and ethical values are evident throughout the program. Low-dose ketamine is extremely effective. It seems that best results are acheived alongside healing integration and lifestyle modification. Ketamine makes this process easier. It creates flexibility and perspective. Joyous provides supportive resources, education, exercises, check-ins, and follow-up to ensure your treatment is meeting your goals. I truly appreciate Joyous. They have been instrumental in my wellbeing.

I began Ketamine treatment with Joyous in August 2023 and couldn't be more pleased with the results. For the first time in YEARS, I'm glad to be alive! I feel like I’m finally finished with the ongoing circle of 'trying to treat myself'. This has eliminated all recreational cravings for me and has been such a mentally pleasant experience all around. Starting Ketamine therapy with Joyous was like a 'reset' or 'recentering' for me. It has helped my social anxiety and I now look forward to engaging with people. I feel at peace. I feel forgiveness. I feel connected. I felt nothing each time after taking medication.

I finally found some relief for my irritability and fatigue. I am using antidepressants but have treatment resistant depression. Joyous is so easy to work with.They have been flexible and quick to respond to any questions or needs. The program is really easy to follow.
